Wiki is my friend............

Their first hit was "I'm Into Something Good" (written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King), which reached No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart and No. 13 in the US in 1964. They never topped the British charts again, but had two US Billboard Hot 100 No. 1's with "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" (originally sung by Tom Courtenay in a 1963 British TV play) and "I'm Henry the Eighth, I Am" (a British music hall song by Harry Champion dating from 1911). These songs were aimed at a US fan-base, with Peter Noone exaggerating his Manchester accent; the band was not fond of either song and they were never released as singles in Britain.

My Dad used to play a 60's cassette in the car. This song is the only one I can remember from it.

More up to date guilty pleasure.

I'm guilty because of the amount of pleasure I get from it. Song always makes me happy, when I hear it when I'm already happy it's dangerous.

Lol fair enough.

Not sure it fits in with the thread, it is hardly embarassing admitting you like any White Stripes song.

Less controversially then, I'd like to offer this in your ear with a can of beer and up your butt with a coconut.

trigg should put this on his r&b/rap playlist

I knew someone would come along and post a cool band and claim it was a guilty pleasure, to therefore infer they are too cool for school (wp tank).

Having said that, just about anything by the Cure are a guilty pleasure for me, not because they suck because they are awesome, but because my sister loves them and I spent most of my teens telling her they were shit.

Ditto some of the better singalong songs by Queen, whom I berate on a daily basis to my missus who loves them (Queen aint exactly cool though but very popular. Sacha Baron Cohen is playing Freddie in the Queen biopic btw.

Dino - Phil Oakey was my baby sitter, thats my claim to fame in life.

I can hardly believe my eyes/ears.
Most threads of this sort start with one or two posts that can genuinely said to be "guilty pleasures" and then deteriorate as people add more and more reasonable posts.
However, this thread started with Toto - I mean. come on.
I feel guilty a lot of the time but I fail to see how anyone can feel guilty about enjoying Toto.
As for Tighty feeling guilty about enjoying Sarah McLachlan, I'm speechless.

In an attempt to establish a benchmark to help you all:

I feel guilty about enjoying this:

I feel a little bit guilty about enjoying this:

I feel very guilty about enjoying this:

I hope that this helps.
