sighhhhh, wish this hadn't got into a "dont 3bet without a plan" thread
How abouttttt, we open 108 green, a good reg 3bets us from the button and it is back to us. We have 37bbs and the same speech play happens. What do we do?
Repeat: But put a bad/spewy player in instead of the button.

Often though, If someone asks you this question, you dont really know how they'll take w/e answer you give...
the options are
1) say nothing
2) say yes
3) say no
4) say something, that is niether yes or no
Even saying nothing will influence them, and you dont know how, so just saying something different like "i'll show you one" is pretty cool I think, also its less douchey than saying nothing at all cos that's a bit rude. I don't actually think whether they want a call or fold has much to do with it, just anything that confuses and distracts people, or skews their decision making.
How is saying nothing to a player's question in anyway rude? He's trying to obtain information and it's your prerogative if you answer or not. Certainly no obligation for you to answer so as not to be rude.

My personal favourite when asked if I will show is to answer "Yes, yes I will."
Then once they have muked collect the pot and then also do a muck.
It must be noted that on a couple of occasions, the person I did this to did not enjoy it as much as I did.

The last time someone asked me if I'd show when I 4bet shoved, I held KK. I said no I wouldn't, hoping that my read was correct and he'd call.
I was right he called me and binked a 4 on the flop to trip up.
Now I just keep quiet

There's an old saying which goes something like 'becareful of what you wish for, it may come true'.
Of course I'd do it again and again. Not for +ev just for the pain of getting binked against.
