whats best hotel / b&b near DTD

if travelling to nottingham for DTD 2 or 3 day events - which is the best / cheapest / nice value for money hotel / b&b (which obviously serves the best FULL ENGLISH breakfast )

Best: Holiday Inn Castle Marina, Crowne Plaza in Town. The HI is far more convenient for DTD of the two

Cheapest. Hylands in Beeston £20 a night. Old style B and B.

Value of Money. Premier Inn Nottingham South (Nottingham Knights)

It's around £6 from Holiday Inn Castle Marina to DTD. 

DTD have a set rate with a taxi crowd in the area for various hotels, so might be no harm to ring DTD.  They'll quote the taxi rates as well as giving you contact info for each hotel.

HI or town centre are about £6 iirc. use trentcars who've got a deal with dtd so you get a lower fare than the others

i stayed in the Holiday Inn when i was down as did alot and i had no complaints with the place.

fyi - you can get free internet at the holiday inn castle marina until around 4pm , there is a wireless AP called 'ed's bar' or something.

(just in case you were going to pay for it).

Breakfast there is good too

A block booking with Maria in reservations for £50 per night B+B.

I did book around 14 Rooms but  at least she's up for having a deal.

10 Minutes walk to town. Next door to Hooters with £5 Taxi's to DTD always available.
