There's a nice 1.8 lens for Canon cameras that's only about £70.  It's quite plasticy but it takes lovely photos and for the price it's always worth having in the bag

Anyone know how to get the I-pad/apple stuff to use the adobe flash player to play stuff? Or is there an alternative? Be nicer to be able to watch TV and stuff on it the odd time.........

I-Swifter is an app that plays flash stuff for anyone interested, so that's one of the few boxes left that needed ticking for me. It seems to work ok from my small amount of use with it so far.

Got a fantastic new app for those who do a bit of cycling, its called cycle meter.

Basically it maps your route and where you are in live time, and also gives you all the stats you could possibly need on your ride. Distance travelled, current speed, average speed, ride time, graphs of your speed, graphs of your elevation so you can see the height profile of your trip etc. It looks like there are loads of options, I haven't even scratched the surface yet.

As mentioned it also maps your trip in live time so you see where you are at any moment in time and decide where you want to go from there. Here is a pic of my trip from Friday night. I reckon this is the best app I've bought yet.......

Pic of bike plz...

Will take one tomorrow, I was planning on taking my camera with me anyway as there are shitloads of photo ops on this route. Many of the water birds seem to have little ones in tow at the moment  Smiley

Its a trek mountain bike of some description.

Average speed too plz

It says 7 mph ish, but that is basically worthless for this trip as I forgot to turn the timer off when I got home for a while. I will post an accurate speed of tomorrows trip.

Found a couple of decent apps for any photographers out there, probs no good for those that have Photoshop and are good with it, but for editing newbies like me they seem good.

Photogene and colour splash. A couple of pics I edited using them.........

checking your current speed on an ipad seems a touch dangerous

Yeah coast to coast Whitehaven to Newcastle, but via a tough part of the Lake District which I'm going to struggle with.
