Pep Fontana has just doubled up.

In the BB, he called a 29k raise from Paul Bowser in the CO and they saw a flop of two spades. This was enough for Pep apparently, who instantly shoved. Bowser pretty much snap called and we went to showdown.

Fontana:

Bowser:

Fontana was ahead, but had to dodge three , two Queens and nine spades. The turn took away some outs, the Two Diamonds meaning that any three was no good, and the river saw Pep rake in the 260k pot.

could you wish paul garnham good luck for me please, thanks

Paul 140,000

Paul, bless him, is able to look miserable as sin at the table even when flopping Quad Aces against Kings full and being unable to be beaten!

However he has ground a short stack for two days now and is well overdue a big score in one of these. Has been knocking on the door for a couple of years

All jokes aside, a much under-rated player

who is under-rating him and who is qualified to rate him?

Interesting situation

Ali Mallu shoves for 200,00at 6-12k announcing

"this is blind, I need to double up" Was he blind, I don't know?

Adrian Pound passes K-10 suited on the button for all his chips

Rob Collins passes A-7 off in the small blind and passes for all his chips

but Paul Garnham is made of sterner stuff

looks at a King and calls with one card blind

He has K5cc

Ali has A3off (suggesting he had looked at the Ace?)

Garnham doubles up to 260,000 with a 5 on the flop, and Ali Mallu is down to 5x bb and 60,000

Not sure anyone is qualified to rate him, all opinions after all

I rate him having played with him for 5 years, and I think some others tend not to as they should

Alli Mallu out in 17th. Decimated after the hand with Paul Garnham earlier, he raised UTG to 70,000. Ian Plater called and everyone else passed. There were laughs as Alli hadn't declared "all-in" and still had one 500 chip left on his cards as a protector. That went in on the 3-K-7 flop and Plater was obligated to call despite having no piece of it, holding A-10. Fortunately, Alli hadn't hit either as he turned over 8-6 and somehow contrived to miss everything on the Q turn and 5 river.

Interesting

Folded to Paul Romain in the small blind who makes it 30,000

Kenny Prazer in the big blind makes it 80,000 from a 460,000 stack

Romain shoves for 300,000

Prazer, dwells. Dwells some more

and passes, flipping  face up.

Interesting.

Interesting.

Kenny is an absolute card rack

Mark my words he knows Kings or Aces will be along any minute so the Jacks were an easy pass

Good luck to Pep and Kenny who will take some beating from here on in
