of course they play to a winner ,whos to say the veiwers need to know .

   they don't, but going by the £50 grand prix last week, i don't think they were even allowed to deal cash wise, i could be wrong. but didn't trumper announce just before the final that no deals were allowed.
   i see the point of playing to a winner, but cash should be up to the players.

maybe they will agree something away from the table

it should be ,i remember being told u cant deal in a final gukpt ,but that never stopped anything  happening.

how can they tell them no deals ,btw im sure a few wouldnt want deals but they cant tell them that surely .
unless they signed this before the tourny starts.

   with the tv deal, if u were a viewer u'd be pretty pissed off if they dealt....i'm sure they can deal cash wise but probably have to play to a winner

I'm not sure this is true. Deals at final tables are a part of real life poker, which is surely what a prospective viewer of this show is going to want to watch. If a good/bad deal gets made, that's a talking point for people. It's not like the WSOP, where they pretend it's all about winning the "trophy".

you ever seen a deal made on tv??   i know i haven't......i'm just going by the GP last week, it was made clear no deals
