I think the Beef was $260 8oz Fillet I had it with 3 Scallops on the side with the bestest mashed potato i've ever tasted I also had Asparagus and green beans and a $70 bottle of wine.
It was my Birthday I went on my own. Bill was about $425 ish I left $450

Average tip in the US is about 18%.
Waitresses/barstaff etc rely a lot more on tips than in the UK as they are paid poorly, but tipping is so much part of US culture that virtually everyone tips.
Edit: Sigh at Kin and Cos.
