ok i know i have asked once already but found a great way to buy cheap laptop as long as i get it from tesco and before dec 5th
so some speedy help required please:
if i buy from tesco can use our vouchers and double up ie £10 becomes £20
i need to know if this laptop is any good (i am so bad with this stuff)
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.210-6889.aspx
its for a 11 year old so it does not have to do that much ..... plus its only costing £150
also if anyone has any tesco vouchers they are only going to use for normall shopping i would buy them as face value
and be able to double up some more
thanks loads in advance

Laptops more than good enough for what you want it for.
However, you should be careful because exposing your children to a computer screen for long hours can damage there eyesight for the future, hope the advice helps.

have you considered that you could be exposing your children to the dangers of crushing their fingers when closing the lappie?

Just got one (17" screen i7 processor) from the Dell Outlet website. Have to search around a bit and get to where you can filter with tick boxes down the right hand side, but there's some good bargains on there.

Obv I was taking the Michael but I'd be suprised if any kind of prolonged staring at a screen didn't cause some sort of damage over a long period.

Yer, i specifially asked does it do any long term damage, he said no, he said it may cause short term pain, because when looking at a computer, aparently you dont blink properly, thus not removing dust particles, thus letting the dust build up, thus causing pain in the eyes. To prevent this, make sure occasionaly you do a long slow blink. Lesson of the day over
