Welcome back to DTD for Day 2 of the December Deepstack £100,000 gtd and £31,000 to the winner

A promising field returns, and here are some biographical details of some of the contenders

Joe Stevenson    14    9    192800

Returns as chip leader. Young lad from Leeds. Allegedly fond of a drink. Best result in this is 6th in Dec 2008

Nigel Turver    22    4    187300

A regular on the midlands circuit. Three top 20 finishes in the DTD Deepstack in the last 18 months. Best record at Sheffield venues.

James Keys    22    8    141300

Tall, cerebral and won this in September 2009. A host of good results going back over three years and a real threat to land this today.

Miles Mckenzie    12    3    90300

Newcastle One Direction lookalike. Fond of getting Jon Lundy into trouble. Ground a shortstack all day yesterday until it all came together in the final level

Aleksandrs Golubevs    14    4    86500

Latvian Luton regular. Always gets chips but I couldn't tell you how. Neither could he, allegedly.

Glenn Henderson    21    7    71500

blonde, and Luton's, nirvana. Hoping to recover from a terrible poker year with no results except a ludicrous chop in this. Nice shirt yesterday.

Harprit Singh Gurnam    14    1    70200

Cardiff circuit veteran. Consistently dangerous player

John Exley    11    6    68500

Blackpool veteran, finalist in this last month and runner up in the Genting at Star City. In cracking form then

Alan Mcbride    12    6    66100

He should be so Lucky, which is just as well because he is. Serial go-deeper in these. Lovely guy. Always gets paid off when he has a hand, at odds with an image that suggests he never should.

Charles Flynn    22    6    63200

blondemod cf, Nana to his friends and Girgy. Staked into this on blonde. Would like to see him do well

Paul Ho    11    5    58400

Grinding layabout from Lincoln, fond of queues, ladies shoes, prop bets and monkey costumes. Has a heck of a game on him with side event wins at DTD the last two big festival weekends

Marc Foggin    22    5    54000

Another Newcastle lad, another boyband lookalike. Now we know why buzzharvey hangs around them

Lawrence Gosney    15    2    33800

Scowling poker lagtard from Leeds. Gruff exterior belies a man whose main hobby is looking after unwanted Llamas at a Sanctuary in York.

Simon Deadman    12    4    33800

Always there or thereabouts, until one move too many

Mitchell Johnson    12    5    33400

DTD's leading jockey, according to Rob Yong. Always think he's very talented, gets big stacks and never converts.

Michelle Bennett    21    6    33300

MLHMLH on blonde. Former winner of this and regular DTD supporter alongside husband Ian, not brother Ian, with whom she played most of yesterday

Richard Blacklock    21    5    31000

Eso Kral the Southend estate agent who is a very nive man because whenever he sees me he buys me a drink. Purely selfishly, a bink for him today would be good

Chin Chai Koh    14    5    30500

Is it? Yes, it is is it? Chines Frankie. Looked steelily determined all day yesterday. Would be a popular winner, mainly with TitaniumBean

Adebayo Odetoyinbo    11    9    22700

Greeted me so often like a long lost brother yesterday I didn't have the heart to do Frost/Nixon 2 with him

Kenny Prazer    15    1    15600

Grand Prix finalist from Bedfrdshire

Anthony Conway    22    9    11500

Northampton player, mainly cash games live, often at Luton and the Vic

I am afraid the new website doesn't give me the payouts, so we'll make do with this

52 remain, 27 paid

Finally got home last night. Not entirely sure what happened on the M1. Think the road had iced over and they had to grit it.

Got 62k going into 1k/2k so plenty of play for me.  Time to take it down!
