Richard Blacklock raiuses to 15,000 with  in mid position

Charles Flynn shoves 80,000 in the small blind

Instantly Lu Xu shoves for a lot in the big blind

Blacklock passes

Flynn

Xu

board

and we lose Charles Flynn in 15th winning £959

Is this really bad play IMO. Raise then a re rasie how Can you think 88 good in that spot?

Passed to the small blind Hemang Nathwani he shoves A-9 but unluckily finds Lu Wu sitting in the big blind with Kings. King on the flop extinguishes any hope of the outdraw and we lose Nathwani in 13th

Chip leaders are Alexander Golubevs and Lu Xu, followed by Miles McKenzie. Alex and Lu 400,000, Miles 350,000

Play is slow. A raise pre is normally enough to take it down. There arent any real shorties here just yet.

Lu Xu is OUT.

It all started when Xu limped from the hijack. Alex Golubevs limped the cutoff but Miles McKenzie decided to squeeze from the button for 27k. Both blinds folded and Xu called. Golubevs didn't like this though and re-raised to 100k. McKenzie passed and Xu declared all-in! Golubevs called quickly and we had a showdown.

Xu:

Golubevs:

The board ran out Two Diamonds to hand Golubevs the massive pot, and after chip counts Xu was just covered and sent to the rail in 12th place!

Marc Foggin raises to 20,000 and Paul McDermott shoves for 90,000 on the button

Marc isn't happy but eventually decides to take a shot with

McDermott

on the flop and McDermott doubles to 190,000

Foggin down to 190,000 too

Meanwhile McKenzie has been moved to the direct left of Golubevs who is a big chip leader with 900,000. McKenzie down to 150,000

Final table bubble time...

Richard Horton is gone in 11th. He's been pretty short for some time and we've noticed him shoving quite a lot. This time Alex Golubevs woke up with a hand and called.

Horton:

Golubevs:

The board ran out Two Clubs to give Golubevs the pot and send Horton spinning out in 11th. Golubevs is over 1 million now we think.

Fairly brutal stuff this

Gerald McKinlay raises to 25,000 in the cut off

Paul Kemp flats on the button

Heads Up to a    flop

McKinlay checks with 75,000 behind

Kemp bets 35,000 with 100,000 behind

McKinlay c-raises all in with not a lot of fold equity and is insta called by

McKinlay reveals the rather amazing  two spades

turn  giving backdoor spades

River  Two Clubs for McKinlay to hit two pair and felt Kemp
