Done an alright job. Don't see what the fuss was about getting him a new contract. Made no sense.
Wouldn't have sacked him but wouldn't have given him a new contract and give him until later in the season and see if a change is needed.

wtf? Stabilised the club completely, got the best out of our players who struggled off the pitch, Barton/Carroll etc. Beat the scum 5-1, drew with Chelsea, beat Arenal away, god run in league cup, cruised the league last year, made some excellent signings Williamson for example.
Done all of this without much financial backing, 5-10 of his best players been removed from his squad and on a part time coaches wage. Feel absolutely gutted for the bloke he was an assistant manager for 10+ years and waited patiently for his chance, massive, massive kick in the bollocks.

I was gona back him at 5/1 a couple of months back. Then he went to 14s after beating Sunderland 5-1 and i thought about getting involved and Rich was like "lol Avram Grant obv" so i didn't
I think Newcastle were going down with him in charge (slowly), good decision to act now before they are in the bottom 3 imo, got to be ruthless
Got to be Shearer or Keegan next.
