Not aimed at Newcastle as such, but so many of these clubs just throw away money, one year rolling contracts is what they should aim at, not sure how Pardew managed to get 5yrs+ he'll never have to work again when he's sacked

Having a few connections with Charlton I got told a fair few stories about Pardew none good tbh. I will ask my uncle if I can leak a few, he might not want me saying lol.

6 seasons with him? wtf. Ashley trying to asset strip the club, slowly over the next 6 seasons will try and recoup what he's lost without putting anything back into the club, will fuck off back to London and we will be royally fucked. Lots of noise up here about mass protesting on Saturday.

Another thing just sprung to mind. Collocini was absolutely awful in his first season under Shearer/Keegan and seemed an absolute flop for 9m. Hughton obviously spent alot of time working with him and he is now a very very good defender. He's turned Andy Carroll from a decent 4th choice striker to England international. Barton, thug/fans booing him every game - fans favourite.

I am absolutely gutted for him and never had so much respect for someone in football. Hope he gets a chance somewhere as he really is better than just an assistant or coach. Ashley, hang your head in shame.

Hopefully Shearers agreed to work under Pardew in 2-3 seasons and take over at the end of the 5 years.

Was also good to see a player like Joey Barton turning it around and playing football like the good player he can be. Hope Pardew doesn't spoil that for him.

At the end of the season when we got relegated Shearwer told Ashley he wanted to take the team back up and really look for the future and he said he thought the fans would get behind him. Ashley shook his hand and said OK i'll speak to Derek Llambis and get back to you.
