pardew is the biggest dick in football.
Mike Ashley? Why do club owners insist on meddling when everything is ticking along nicely? Newcastle could very quickly find themselves in a relegation struggle after a solid start to the season. Roman Abramovich is another that should learn not to interfere after getting shot of Ray Wilkins, not saying it's the only factor but clear things are not well at Chelsea since then. Some real fuckwit managers and joke appointments are being linked with the job, the Newcastle fans deserve better and so did Chris Hughton.

I'd rather have Hughton as manager than Jol and I've never been a massive Hughton fan but neither have I of Jol.Really am still baffled by this, makes absolutely no sense at all.
LOL at the vid,ROFL at the "you've lost so many times" part.

LMAO....as a Boro fan this decision makes me ridiculously happy. It is only a matter of time before they start calling for fat Freddie to save the club. I remember all the chants of "sack the board"....be careful what you wish for boys!!!

Freddy Shephard was a terrible chairman, that isn't debatable. It just so happens that we run that fukn bad we end up with someone even worse. It's a shame Steve Gibson isn't a Newcastle fan and instead has to waste his money on a joke of a club who can't even sell there allocation for a cup final and has a half empty ground every week.GG Boro when he gets sick.

This is true and, to be fair, Newcastle are such a big club with so many trophies and such a rich history that their current underperformance means that they really had to have a change of manager so that they can regain their rightful Champions League place.

"Tottenham Hotspur have added to their strike force with the transfer of Darren Bent who was signed from Charlton Athletic for £16.5 million. Bent, Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe could provide the most potent strike force in the Premier League. Elsewhere, Jol has added young players to his squad, Gareth Bale from Southampton for £5 million, Younes Kaboul from Auxerre for £8 million, Adel Taarabt from Lens and Kevin-Prince Boateng from Hertha Berlin for £6 million."
Some decent signings in his time. Rate all of the above.
