Gonna be a really bad HH as it was on a friends computer and I dont have the copy.

Hero/Villain stacks circa 19k. Average 8k
100/200, Hero UTG+1, Villain Button
Hero opens  to 475
Villain 3B to 1000
Hero 4B to 2750
Villain flats

Flop:

Hero Checks? This flop was a strange one to me. He flats pre with QQ/AA a bunch, the only hand we achieve results from by betting the flop is AQ, maybe pairs but villain is unknown. Only turn we dont want to see is an ace, so is checking a good option for both pot control and getting value out of marginal hands on later streets?
Villain checks back

Turn:

Puke. Do we lead turn to represent AK? Or C/F?

Was alot of discussion between me and my friend. Am I just being a COMPLETE retard? Its mainly the flop line that Im interested in. Its been a long time since Iv played these kind of stakes regular (I play live 95% of the time now), so I have no idea of standard line here...

hes not just flatting QQ and AA.  flop is an absolutely mandatory bet.

ur logics gonna get a bit circular if u still think ur not getting value on the flop

I didnt think we werent getting value on the flop, I thought we were folding out hands that may call/bluff later streets. What do you expect to get called by by a general $5 MTT player? And how much of his range do you think those hands fill?

I think I should have 4B more, therefore forcing me to cbet flop and get it in. I dont think the 4B was anywhere near big enough in hindsight

bet flop, you get value from a tonne of pp's/Qx and floats. turn is tricky, would need more reads.

in the 5 rebuy im definitely not scared of AA and not really scared of QQ and hes very unlikely to fold that flop IMO.  as played turn is an easy c/c c/f but you are missing so much value from not betting the turn.  i dont see him folding any pair from 33 up AQ KQ AK 67s etc loads of shit these mugs are gonna peel with.  weighted toward JJ TT tho

It might seem like a bad card, but he doesn't really have that many Ax's obv this is a $5 rebuy so there is a chance he has AJ/AQ/AK but when we consider that he prolly wont 3ball AJ and below that often, and pre antes AQ would most likely peel pre as well (altho like i say ^^  anything is poss in these comps)

check call ftw as played imo - even if he does 3ball call AJ still onyl leaves 3 proper combo's and we have two of the kings for AK blockerz i would VB river for sure if it goes chk/chk

There aren't many hands he peels a 4bet with that he will actually fold on this flop lol

5$ rebuy bet flop,
As played you have to keep it small a2 is very possible and they hate folding any ace at any time
