turkey is hardly european

Yeah, good point - only 3% of it is in Europe.  But that's enough for it to count.  Same as most of Russia is in Asia, but it still counts.

Was going to fail it, but looked it up and she joined in 1990 as a main character.  So it's an ace.

In what, Rainbow?

IMDB has Dawn Bowden   ...   Zippy's Neighbour (1 episode, 1990-1992)

The character is "Zippy's Neighbour" and she featured in 1 episode out of 993!

SUSTAINED

Obvious google and wrong answer.  Score will be adjusted accordingly.

With a score already in the 40's I sure did google - not that it matters that my integrity is called into question - <huff>

OK, no google.

But a fail nevertheless.

In 1989, Rod, Jane and Freddy left the show to concentrate on touring, pantomime appearances and their own separate TV show (which had run parallel with Rainbow since 1981). This meant that Dawn Bowden was introduced as a regular female character in place of Jane - ergo a hell of a lot more times than once

they should all be fails anyway

Very good Dan

but in a way very bad. Questions were precise, farce quotient was low and notwithstanding your usual IT issues, its over far too quickly

You've let us down.

OK, please justify Lat being a fail.

Latvia is in Europe, and as far as I'm aware they've not gone Euro yet.

Latvia is not a fail, the Lat does not change to the Euro til 2012

Haven't decided the score for that one yet.  Might sleep on it.

Does that mean there's time for a quick additional quiz?
