Just read this from before this weekends fixtures:
Twelve points from six games puts Blackburn fourth in the Barclays Premier League form table
What more does he have to do!

Worse decision than Newcastles last week imo.
They should move heaven and earth to get O'Neil imo, he might be tempted if they promise him the world to spend.
Sure is

I think the new owners want a manager that doesn't get everyone to launch the ball into orbit every game.
I've never rated Allardyce and if Capello is recommending him as the future England manager gg England qualifying majors.
The Hughton sacking was miles worse.
Also Hodgson's a lucky man atm considering were only 1 point ahead of Blackburn.

This is a misperception about Blackburn. Just sayin' not for sam allardyce teams, sticking a 6ft 8 centre half up front when u have recognised centre forwards on the bench isn't conducive for free flowing football

It depends what you are looking for in your football club Maldini.
The style of football that Allardyce and Pulis play will keep their sides in the premiership without too much danger. It will not entertain the fans or owners, but they will continue to survive and possibly thrive as a Premiership club. The style of football that good sides play (and you can include the likes of Bolton and West Brom in this) can not be implemented with the sort of ability of player that Blackburn and Stoke currently hold. West Ham and Wigan are proving as much. People say Blackpool are an exception to this rule but i'm not convinced their football is that good, they are just fantastically motivated and driven by a great manager with the tag of ultimate underdogs and nothing to lose.
If Blackburn's new owners are prepared to invest a hell of a lot of money to bring in the sort of player that can produce good football then fair enough re: the decision. But its an extremely risky move to sack Big Sam at this point in the season rather than at the end. It is their prerogative to do so if they want to be entertained but its such a gamble with the clubs future to do it now. They could go down if the wrong man is appointed.

There's a big difference between new owners coming in and changing manager because they don't like his style which is totally acceptable to sacking a manager who'd done a good job and replacing him with a manager who has done nothing to suggest he's better than the man he replaced other than he's the owners mate, not really sure how it's even close tbh.

Tomorrow's tabloids have the Blackburn owners wanting Maradona as the new manager
Apart from the LOL factor, there is a huge disconnect between what the new overseas owners want at these clubs and what historically has kept them in the Premier League. Presumably large amounts of sustained cash from these owners will overcome the huge hijacking of the cultures of these clubs

Is the 31,000 capacity not a bit of a stumbling-block to lofty aspirations?

We get 50,000 when we hate the owner and that doesn't seem to entice anyone decent to want us so maybe they have a different requirement ?

not if the new owners are prepared to accept annual trading losses. Of course if that ever ends, the club can be stuffed. A bit like Chelsea will be if Abramovic ever has had enougg.
