Sorry about the problems earlier with slow-load times.

I've sorted it now. Carry on.

Pen Profiles of the final 14

Amy Trodd

Only just met Amy. Worked for Betfair and as a blogger for Poker Verdict before joining Ladbrokes. Other half of Dry Em, Karl Mahrenholz. Watched Amy play a fair amount for two days and her actual play..moves, applying pressure.....is diametrically opposed to her table image!  Had a tough final few hours last night.

Ben Jenkins

3rd in a Monte Carlo side event a year ago, 2nd in a UKIPT side event, 4th in a GUKPT Summer Series event and best of all winner of a $300 at the Venetian this summer

Chris Gordon

Occasional player at Luton. fresh faced and had a series of great battles with Simon Deadman all yesterday. Was gifted a load of chips late yesterday by Scott Shelley

Fraser Bellamy

Past winner of the £300 Deepstack at DTD. Hails from Lincoln area I think. Very swingy player, never turns down a gamble. Tough opponent when in form as he'll get you from anywhere. Ali Mallu without the blackjack problem

Hannes Kruse

Norwegian, and likes to be in pots. More of a caller than an applier of pressure from my observation. Very understated demeanour. Looks like Morten Harket of Aha!

Jack Ellwood

Online success story with over $1.5m won in the past 18 months. Runs well, plays well. What is not to like?

His blonde "Well" is here: http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=50067.0

James Moult

blonde "bookiebasher", a Nottingham bookie. Tremendous record in the long DTD events including a top 5 finish in the 2009 English Poker Open for a lot of money. Has been incredibly generous to blonde in 2010, a fantastically genuine guy.

Jerome Bradpiece

the BlackBelt Brown Belt, winner of GUKPT Walsall in 2008. Looks a real talent to me, tough to play and really strong instincts. His battle with Ellwood should be one to watch

Lee McMillan

Another fearless type, from Doncaster. Took on Ellwood for large parts of yesterday, calling a lot of his raises and applying pressure. Did same to Toby Lewis and knocked him out. Hello to Mrs McMillan watching blonde for the first time today.

Raymond Norton

Mondatoo on blonde. Very popular and genuine guy. Part time accountant and mostly full time online MTT SNG Grinder. Said he found playing this far tougher than 24 tabling for 12 hours a day. Comes back the short-stack, with a 3 bet shoving stack

Here is Ray's blog on here http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=46739.0

Shaun King

The player of the 14 remaining I know least well. Perhaps someone can help?

Simon Deadman

A phenomenal chip getter. Month after month in the Deepstack he gets into position to take it down, only to blow up on the final day. His talent merits a big win. Could this be the one?

Terry Mitford

Oldest player left in the field. Quiet and precise at the table. Survived for two days, most of the last day out of position to Bradpiece

William Fry

EPT Budapest winner in 08, 12th in this a year ago. Another excellent player who has been faultless for two days.

blinds are 4000-8000/500 for another 40 minutes. Average is 530,000

14 left. I understand the plan is to play to a nine handed final. Break. then lose a player. Break. Set up an 8 handed feature table. This takes ages with mic-ing up, lights etc.

So if play is a bit fractured, bear with me.

Also, I am not sure how close I am going to get to the final past barriers, cameras, hordes of production types. Will do my best. If anyone stands in my way they'll know abut it!

Play begins at 2pm

Played Shaun King in a tournament before. The ex-Tampa Bay QB. He owned me heads up to win a trophy. Sipping power shakes while I was sipping Newcy Brown. Can't be. Can it?

GL Monda also. If not, Jerome please.
