Hi guys, I'm looking for a poker diary type website that was posted up here a while ago. Not the one on the hendon mob site, but one like it. I want to start tracking my online play and poker tracker doesn't do what I want it to do.

Any ideas? I cant for the life of me remember. Cheers.

Mikky,

I use Pokercharts...(pokercharts.com)

It's very good and free for the first month. Have a look and see what you think.

i agree with the poker charts site, i got it from blonde aswell and it has already made me $$ as when i filter to cash there is a HUGE dip in my chart but when i filter to STT's it takes a nice steady rise.

So i havent played a cash table for 3 weeks and im a more relaxed and profitable person

All the best Mikky

It does take a lot of discipline to manually put everything in .. even those "shit!" results, that it would be very easy to gloss over.

You have to be honest with yourself and be strong. I generally open a new session just as I start, and MAKE myself fill i in no matter.

It does have a good side effect though - well for me anyway - I find myself making sure i play as well as I can, so it will look good on the stats<g>.

Thats exactley what i do heid,

it is easy to make ya self have the results of phil ivey but the whole point of these types of software is to be honest enough with ya self so that u know ya strong games (holdem/omaha or stud) best venues (ladbrokes/crypto) and best format (cash/STT or MTT) and with the use of the graph it will tell you exactley where and what you should play

And hopefully have ivey's results in the future Cool

I've been wanting to create my own, so that it is visible on my blog - but I just haven't gotten around to it Sad

Tip:

(ta Ali for this one)..
You get a month's fee trial, so start it at the start of a month (or year in this case!), and then you can get used to it and your results will be nice and neat.

I just downloaded Poker Charts, very impressed.  First session put me on $430/hr.

If only!   Cheesy

Yeah... manually entering is a bit sucky. But with so many different packages logs working in different ways, plus you need to report your live play, this seems the best way...

plus it has an export feature to get excel readable files.

I am glad more people are using this, i have used it for over 2 years now and it has come on leaps and bounds, its bummer they charge for it now, but still well worth it.

It is always being improved and has made me a lot of money in the past.

You get used to inputting the results and it only takes 10 seconds when u are used to the software (remember to setup the defaults for the game you play most often)

I've had it running throughout my sessions today.  If nothing else it's a nice looking way to keep records, work out your rate, etc.
