will blonde be getting any mentions/airtime/exposure on the 865 channel at all?
Hasn't been discussed but I think not. Remember Sky has its own forum, and the aim here is not to send a load of Sky posters onto here and damage their place. So we'll keep promotion of Sky on blonde, for our members and fly under the Sky forum radar
100% NOT - in EXACTLY the same way that I have never ever ever mentioned Sky Poker on blonde Forum.
You'll need to decode some of it, of course, sort of televisual reading between the lines.
My next Show is Sunday (tomorrow) evening, from 9pm until 1am, when we cover the £50 Sunday Night Primo (usually about £4,000 up top), & also follow the Viva Las Vegas Semi-Final, which is a £120 jobbie leading to the £1,100 VLV Monthly Final on January 30th.
I shall mention you.......have you ever done anything in your life that was noteworthy? This could be fun.

Well done all at blonde/skypoker, this actually has the potential to be huge. Was never a big fan of the sodtware but the recent changes have been really good. Been fortunate enough to have played one of their live events and was muchly impressed with how it was run.
Strange that I have recently played a coupla tourneys there over the last week
.Count me in guys. Would love to see a permanent blonde league/tourney there.
Got to be really nosey and ask as I am a great lover of the live updates, are Sky providing funding for furture updates? if so kudos to them.
Best of luck with this
Geo
Funny, ...I too have been re- playing on Sky for a few weeks, since they now have the downloadable version.
Please note blonde members are not allowed to play the "double your money" tables
Will def playing more now,... lets hope its a really successful partnership.

The Biggy at Sky is the £220 FO every Thursday at the end of the month - This is capped at 50 runners
The "Big" one on a weekly basis is the Primo, £55 FO which is a 15K GTD tournament and is on every sunday and the analyst this week is Grandad Tikay.
Hope this info helps and gl to you at the tables

tikay will be able to answer better, maybe. I'm still getting up to speed but there is a monthly £220 on the TV, weekly £55s and whopping £1100 Viva Las Vegas finals (£120 semis into the€m), for WSOP packages

Well you've had two responses already Mr Paul, but bear with me, & I'll run through the "highlights" for you shortly.
Bear in mind, please, that "big" is relative. It's not like 'Stars, or FT, we don't have zillion dollar jobbies with thousands of runners, but it's all in £ sterling, not $$'s, & the player base is almost wholly UK & ROI-based.
Thank you for signing up.
A run-through of the Tourneys that may interest you willl follow shortly.

Tourneys.
It has a full schedule of Tourneys from £2 up, a lot of Deepstacks etc, and 4 or 5 Freerolls every day, but as to the bigger stuff......
Monthly Sky Sports Double Stack.
£220, last Thursday of the month, capped at 50 runners, televised from start to finish. Won this week by AndrewT, who cashed for £3,000 I think, to add to a £2,400 cash he binked in the £50 PRIMO (£15,000 Guaranteed) a fortnight earlier, so he's cashed for the fat end of £6k this month. I believe he Satellited into the £220 for a tenner, too. I believe this Tourney may soon become weekly, or a £110 version capped at 100 runners.
Weekly Primo
£15,000 Guaranteed, every Sunday at 8pm, Televised, (tomorrow, it's Rich Orford & myself in the Studio) with plenty of easy Satellite opportunities. Pays about 40 players, with £4k-ish up top. We take phone calls live on air from those running deep in it.
Weekly Sky Sports Bounty Hunter.
£15k Guaranteed, every Thursday at 8pm, Televised, usually simulcast on one of the Sky Sports Channels, so a big audience. Note this is a "Bounty Hunter", so it plays oiut a little different to a normal NLHE jobbie.
Nightly Main Event.
Always 8pm.
Monday & Tuesday are £20 I think (one "standard", one BH), Wednesday is a Double-Stack (4k chips), still £20, Saturday is a standard £20 NLHE. Friday is a £20 Rebuy, Thursday & Sunday, as above. They generally get 500 runners or so, give or take a few hundred depending on whether Football is on Telly, etc.
TSP Classic
Every weeknight at 10pm, £11, gets about 220 runners on average, pays about £600 to the winner. One of the TSP Members play each night. Lovely structure.
Take-on-tikay, aka "TOTTY"
These run on Monday (£2.20), Tuesday (£11), Wednesday (£5.50, & Friday (£5.50 Rebuy). They all start at 8.30pm & have 2,500 starting chips. Number of runners varies from £150 ish in the £2.20, to around 60 in the £11 version. I designed the structure, & it plays very nicely indeed. I try to play it whenever possible, though sometimes I cannot do so.
"tikay Sleepstack"
Every Wednesday at 7pm, £11, 5,000 chips & 15 minute Levels I think. This is, I think, the only "badged" 10 seater Tourney on Sky Poker, all the others are 6 seaters. The whole site is 6-max, with just a few exceptions.
Viva Las Vegas.
Tiighty has detailed these, I think. Essentially, a £10,000 package, which includes flight tickets to Vegas for TWO people, & a suite at The Rio. And all our players get VERY well looked after out there, trust me......
There are, of course, thousands of other Tournies, but I hope that asnwers your question. If not, fire away.
The Tourney types are, mainly, standard NLHE, Bounty Hunters, Velocity (FAST), "Scary" (VERY fast), Deepstacks, plus the stuff I've mentioned.
