I think I'm in the minority of people that doesn't actually like Stephen Fry, I find him a bit irritating. I did learn a word from him once, but I have forgotten it now, but I was quite proud that I knew the word.

It the word that describes inserting a swear word into an every day word, i.e Absofuckinglutely.

Someone help?

Julie Burchill once described Mr Fry as "a stupid person's idea of a clever person" - sadly Julie is hardly an authority on "clever" people, but it does make me chuckle.

how about that? only 1 word now, quite long for you and still correct

LOL, It could be, doesn't sound familiar though. You can see how impressed by it.

Have we slipped into the realms of surrealism, or has the vicar painted over my nipple?

He reads this too. He told me so. And his name is Vince. Can't be a bad guy imo.

Quiet day today. Took my dad up to the bank and dropped in to the funeral directors next door to say 'thanks' for yesterday. They gave an excellent service. It's easy to complain when something goes wrong, so it should be just as easy to say thanks, when something goes well. When up to Watford to pay the balance on the car, then went back to the cemetery to check all was ok from yesterday.

Starting to pack now for Glasgow, well, starting to think about packing for Glasgow. Won't take me long though, 10 mins max probably, doesn't really need much thought.

Mentioned to family yesterday that I was coming up, and now seem to have invites to visit them, should be a packed weekend.

BobaCabs is picking me up tomorrow at Glasgow Airport at 1pm, he is taking me for black pudding, then dropping me off at my relatives. Then he will be off out to watch a Rampant Sporting Lisbon team slam in 5 goals.

He will be joining us later in the evening depending on the result. See you Friday then Paul Wink

We will be playing headsup4sigrights on Friday night. Best of three, winner gets to decide what goes on the losers blonde sig line for a week. High stakes stuff imo. Gonna be some other prop bets during the heads up match, involving drink. Sigh. I don't stand a chance.
