Thank you all for the posts, and to Mitch, mouth & Eso for the PM's.

Friday was fine. Two trips to the cemetery, followed by a really nice meal in the evening. Managed to sleep for the rest of it.

Holly's mum was fine. I met her and her son at the cemetry on Friday and she seemed quite upbeat considering. We don't speak very often, maybe once a month, but I get the impression that she still struggles, which is understandable.

As for Kirsty, well, I don't know. We don't speak, and haven't done for several months now. She felt that it was better to cut off all contact from me, and the rest of my family when she met someone new. I don't know why. I have some ridic legal issue going on, which i was goaded into,  I know I'm right She knows I'm right. I have been informed by two Solicitor's that I'm 100% right, even the letter her solicitor sent to mine more or less admitted I was right lol, but they are obv negotiating on her behalf and they recently wrote to me with some threats and false accusations. Deperation ftw. Oh well, It's a case I know 100% I can't lose, so she is wasting her time, but I think she knows that.

Had my 4th and 5th cash game sessions on Sat & Sun night.

Saturday went well in the main, won a nice pot early with 64dd v KK, then done almost double it back to the same guy with AA<QQ aipf. Swings & Roundabouts and all that  Ended the night up £727, having peaked at £900+.

Still pleased though, as this took the total profit to over £2k for the week.

Sunday's session was just horrible. Looking at the line up, I knew it was gonna be messy, and sure enough, in the first 3 hands, I lost £140, then trebled up to £200, then doubled up to £400, lost the lot, pulled up, lost half of it, trebled up, ground myself out of the hole, then got up to to £700+ There was still money available on the table, it was just a case of who was gonna get it. Obv I make a thin call v him, and got it wrong, the first one of the night, but I had the right logic, so was quite happy with it. Then he distributed his £700 to everyone but me Sad

Ended the night £6+ lol, which is a lot better than the -£400 almost, that I was at earlier in the evening.

Was thinking on the way home, I really have played horribly over the weekend. Not sure why, but will be re-assesing some stuff before my next session.

Another thing i have noticed too, is that I seem to lose quite a bit of money just before the end of a session. I don't know if this is because I lose concentration, or maybe I'm thinking of locking up for the night, then lose a pot, and this speeds up my decision to stop. Either way, I need to work out why.

standard for cash as you're more likely to leave after a loss than you are to hit and run

Could be an idea, only prob is there are normally a couple of marks with money in front of them. Something to work on anyway.

Booooo

Had my first losing session last night. Went to the vic and got a great seat on a great table. And then lost some money Sad 1st buy in went with A3 v A8 on a A 8 K 3 board. Live poker is rigged.

Then spent the next 4 hours grinding down to 100, topping up to 200, then up to 350, then down to 180.

Won a couple of pots, flopping a FH v the short stack who had earlier folded AA face up to me on a Q 10 3 board. WP. Hiis reasoning was he had lost with it twice tonight, and wasn't prepared to lose a 3rd time. He asked me to show him a set, so I showed him a Jack. The rest of his money went in 20 minutes later and he flounced out, chompy style.

Back up to £280 it folds to me on the button and I make it £7 with AA, The SB makes it £25 & I make it £55, he sighs, does a massive hollywood and makes it £155, a small pause later and I make it £256, leaving some change back. He very kindly offers to put me all in. He then says "You have Aces don't you" I nod. "I fucking knew it" lol. Hold against his Kings and we are out the hole, and heading home, until a gay canadian guy arrives at the table, well dressed and looks like he has money. Spends most of the night calling everyone Honey, whilst winning everyones money, and his £200 is now looking like £700. I couldn't leave, me and another guy were sitting quietly waiting for his money, but it just wasn't happening, instead he gave it to everyone else lol, and left at 5am. By now I had gone down to £180 due to some 3 bet misses and a misplayed hand where I just couldn't work out what the guy had, obvious now that he backdoored a flush with 10 J after calling my raise on the Q 5 6 1 diamond flop. Sigh. The game was breaking. so I jumped in a 1/1 game that had about £2k on it, lost some more money which left me on £112.

Then I'm on the button with AJss. It goes.. limp limp  £6, £18, £18, I decided to make it £110, folds round to the last guy to act, I'm sorta happy for him to fold, but don't mind either way, it's 6.55am and I'm ready to go home. He decides to give me a spin and we win v xx. Pick up the £261 pot and call it a night.
