Haha brilliant!!

Good luck mate do a win as I've got a couple quality restaurants lined up in Bournemouth Wink

Lets agree a date Vinny - weekend? Maybe the one after Irish Open and UKIPT?  Like the 21st April

This sounds like a good date. OK with you Marky?

Yeah I'm easy, think the Gala is just cash games on Sat nights and Friday is the £501r tourney. I'll ring them tonight when the card room is open to find out

Got your text Marky, and spoke to Shaun, looks like we are coming down on the friday. He is gonna confirm tomorrow. If he blows us out i'll prob still come anyway, will see if Martins is up for it.

Ok great, said he wanted to come when I mentioned it to him the other week so prob worth giving him another reminder.

I'm playing that Genting comp this week too, I've juggled work so I do Weds night and Thursday day. Finishing 4am and working 10am isn't ideal but it means I'll get a decent kip before playing Friday. Alex is playing 1b on Thursday and hopefully we'll all be back Saturday with a stack (most likely both have knocked it in before the antes though Cheesy)

Good luck at the docs anyway or rather I should be wishing them luck..... I'm staying in London until Sunday night anyway regardless of how the comp goes so hopefully see you at some point over the weekend.

Great, Shaun is def going to that. I'm really undecided atm, but may see you earlier than planned Wink

Unlucky at Walsall but great trip report!!

Seemed to be more eating, smoking and dumping  than poker... Some going considering you made a final and a day 2  Grin

Don't forget the drinking!

I mean, it wasn't excessive, but for 2 years or so, I chose to not drink, now I quite like it. I blame 77dump. He was never a drinker either, but he seems to have acquired a taste for it, opening up tabs during comps etc. Shocking behaviour.

My birthday was a ridc night, I couldn't describe the amount of drink I had, or the effect it had on me. I was loving some people, and wanting to kill others, people that I didn't even know, or if I did know them, I wasn't aware I had a problem with them. Why does drink do that to us? Will be a long time before I get in that state again, that's for sure.

I call on that if we're all out of the comp on day 1!

Well you only mentioned drinking loads of water and smoking when you felt rough so I wasn't to know...

I don't drink at all anymore unless I'm away on a trip and I do enjoy it then for sure. I suffer tremendous hangovers now and I'm not sure if it's getting older or the ms that's to blame, I do push my luck though regardless Smiley

I've no idea, alcohol does the strangest things, I normally find my normal MO is to order lots of shots and try to get as many people involved as possible to ensure everyone is ruined. Nobody ever knows if I'm drunk nowadays anyway as I look smashed walking around during the day  Grin
