I am concentrating. I just shoved all in with a 9 and another 9 and poker monkey tried to knock me out with an ace and another ace. He is gonna have to try harder than that.

Another knock on the road to poker greatness tonight in the £50 f/o at Luton.

A combination of missed flops and missed sraight flush draws had me down to 3400 at 100-200. As a I said above I shoved a limped pot on the button with 99 and pokermonkey re-shoved behind with Aces. He made the mistake of saying he never wins with Aces recently and a 9 duly arrived on the flop.

At 150-300 I was in the big blind. UTG & UTG+1 limped and I checked 76. Flop came 3-4-5. Nice. I check UTG bets 900, utg+1 makes it 2700 and I shove for 10k. UTG folds what turns out to be a big overpair and UTG makes the call with 34. 9 on the turn and 4 on the river and I was down to 1 big blind lol.

Trevor then turns to someone at the table and says 'Thats what he gets for playing rubbish cards' I wouldn't have minded if he said it to me directly but the fact he said it to someone else and wasn't intended for me to hear annoyed me and I reminded him that it was an unraised pot. Whilst the turn & river was being dealt he also was calling for a 5 which I think is unfair on the other bloke in the hand, and I told him that he should keep quiet. He did apologise to be fair. And I left it at that. He will probably go on to win it.

The whole incident has obviously left me scarred and I doubt I will be able to play again for the rest of the month.

A winning month in January but not happy with the amount.

February's target is £1000+ profit.

Good to see Claw's diary updated at last. Shame about Chompy's. I thought the Claw-mpy combo had eloped or something.

Finally managed to get to the cemetery this morning after 3 failed attempts. Mainly because I'm a lazy fucker and should be ashamed of myself. I don't go on specific days or anything but the last 3 times I had planned to go I missed because of my own stupidity.

Met Kirsty there and she treated me to a McDonalds breakfast. Hadn't had one of those for a long time believe it or not. Then I had a great day at work Smiley

Went round to see the parents and took my dad to tescos and the doctors, had some dinner and left for Luton.

Mum hasn't been able to come downstairs for 3 or 4 days now, she just gets out of breath too easy and going as far as the toilet is just about all she can manage. My dad looks knackered. Didn't tell him obv but I'm gonna make a conscious effort to go round more after work and see if I can help out. The problem is he wont let me so it should be fun.

My diary is going to be sporadic. The country's finest sports betting minds will spring into life when an opportunity arises. Just wait and see. No sorry tales on my diary about Russell Brand delivering takeaways. Oh no. Highbrow ftw.
