Are Sky Poker doing promotional calls today? I received a missed call from the Harrogate base and because I've been a victim of fraud recently, I thought I'd give them a bell to check it out. A guy on the other end said he was going to check with the poker department, but then hung up on me and I couldn't be bothered to call back.

Edit. They rang back (which is nice - many will just go "oops" and move on). They were trying to pitch me a Vegas points tourney.
Not sure where I stand on sales calls like these, but I guess it was to just make me aware of an offer, so nothing too annoying.

Cash for points.

Only briefly read the t's n c's so perhaps missed it, but say you finish in the middle between bonuses, eg 4,500, you get the bonus for 4,000, but is the 500 carried forward?

In other words is it worth pushing on to hit the next bonus?

Points are not carried forward, therefore, yes, worth pushing on to the next level.

Cheers, bit disapointing though.

I believe the reason is its shown on Sky Sports and needs to finish in line with their scheduling

As Tighty has said, really, when we simulcast on Sky Sports, as we do most Thursdays, they get a bit stroppy with us if it does not finish within the scheduled show time. Like, VERY stroppy.

Also, truth to tell, liquidity for £220 Tourneys, even as well-structured as this one, is thin at the moment. We average between 50 & 55 for this. At one time it was capped at 30, then 40, then 50. As demand grows, so we are raising the cap.

At the moment, with 8 hours to go, 25 are Regged, so I fancy, going by previous renewals, 50+ is likely.

The Tourney will be covered by Channel 865, with Lisa-Marie Long as Presenter, Paul Jackson as the Pro Poker player Guest, & silly bollocks as the "analyst". And they say I can't get bluffs through......

Thanks.  If I'd thought about it, its a fairly obvious answer I suppose.

Not that I'm aware of, the brokenomoter dial has not moved, & the Tourneys & cash Tables are all running normally from what I can see.

Has it rectified itself yet?

There has not been any software "Incident Reports", either. These come through pretty quick if there is a prob.

Let me know if the problem persists, but I don't think it is their end.
