Congrats also to titaniumbean, aka "Beaneh" next door, who took down the Sunday Roller for about £3,600, after several near misses in recent weeks, including 3rd place for £1,210 the previous Sunday.

He absolutely mullered the Final Table, & I was able to watch, & commentate upon, most of his hands as he cruised to the win. The form was good, too - the runner-up, "mrkris" has cleared just over £10,000 in Sky Poker Tourneys in the last 9 days.

Hi, apologies for the late reply, only just read this. I hadn't realised there was a downloadable client. The browser based version was the problem, as soon as I used the downloadable version it worked. They refunded the buy in so all's fair. Smiley

Will try sort HEM tonight, thanks bean.

Yup, involving, as I recall, Sam Razavi, Jamie Burland &, I think, Carlo.

Gonna have to dig the details out, not sure what side of the bet they were each on.

Interestingly (to a geek) the same guy almost won it at the end of July, too, when he won the Main & finished close up in the Mini.

I would not be overly surprised if it went again before the end of the year, too. The odds of it being scooped are "only" about 350/1 most nights, & that is BEFORE any "edge" is discounted. The odds of a specific player winning it is, of course, much greater.
