Great start to 1/2 session tonight - flopped set vs overpair for +£500.

Barely half an hour later I'm now down 300.

Doubled 3 people up - vs allin for £230 on . He turns flush then leaves game 15 minutes later

- AQ vs 44 allin pre. The 8 straddle is on, btn raises to 22 out of 350, I make it 60, he thinks I'm at it and jams and wins the flip.

- QQ vs KK.

Pretty low morale.

Brief cliffs of weekend-

Friday - did chunks

Saturday - did chunks was going home miserable, ended up in the bar and had an awesome night.

Sunday - had to be back at Dtd for 1 for Grand Prix, doubled thru Bedi then snap bust the next hand. Still over the limit so couldn't drive back had to play £1/1 for 3 hours - was so hungover and tired I can't have played my best, but don't remember making any mistakes - lost a chunk even so. Then I played a £500 HU match which was really fun but I couldn't connect in any 3bet pots and lost a couple of crucial pots and never recovered.

Drove home for some R&R, headed back to Dtd around 10pm to do the commentary for the live stream which really loved doing. Haven't managed to do it for ages and really like it so was glad to get the chance.

At 4am it finished and I drove to the airport to get an early flight to Barcelpna where I am for the next few days with Victoria.

I've been here once before when I was 18 for a weekend. Saw Barca - Seville at the Camp Nou and it was awesome. I absolutely love this city - can't wait to explore it again.

You must go to the Xampanyeria.

As the name (for the Catalan speakers amongst us  ) suggests it's a Champagne (well, Cava) bar with a real Catalan twist.

Pretentious, calm and posh it is not. Great fun, heaving, reasonably priced and authentic it is.

Enjoy mate.
