the thought of HUDs, tracking software etc makes me feel a bit sick as its just a form of 'cheating'

All those people who think they're too broke to play these awesome tournaments on Sundays or the lazy pros who don't bother with satellites, I'll show you how to satellite in and play a full schedule for very cheap. All my accounts have been battered lately, so I thought this'd be a good exercise for discipline to try and spin them up rather than redepositing.

For full transparency I'll post my starting balances and the schedule I want to play. I can't play a few things because I'm going to away tomorrow and don't want to be up too late. So no 2dayers and no late starters.

He told me he crushes $25/$50 6 max no limit online and the secret is to change your avatar regularly. I didn't realise it, but apparently if you change your avatar the software cannot track you properly and so your opponents don't know what you have all the time.

That's such an old school level of thinking. What all the younger successful players have been doing is using the avatar of some wordy bloke from Countdown and the suffix "_1" in their username.
