You going to count ur winnings as earning for your overall yearly profit?

When do you think you will quit staking deal and play 100% on your own dime at 1/2? Or would you prefer for staking to continue onto 5/5?

Yeh unlimited straddles. Even more sceptical that its a +ev game for anyone now.

So the .50/1 game now has a £200 max buy-in, live straddles and a rake capped at £7?

Is that all the .50/1 games?

Obviously the increased rake isn't good, but this is definitely a better game for me (something between the old .50/1 and the 1/2 games) and my bankroll.  Not sure it's going to appeal to a lot of the .50/1 players though.

1/2 games weren't great last night so decided to go to gala and played 50/1 most of the night. Made a decent 330 overall to finish the month off.

JUNE RESULTS

Total Profit: £4752
Hours: 133h25m
Hourly: £35.62
Profit after stakeback: £2900
Nice result Alex, does this mean you get £1450 overall?

The only regular games are 1/2 so thats what I'll be playing as my bread and butter for the foreseeable future. I'll continue to be staked so long as I feel I'm not properly rolled to play on my own. Even with this great month, I've had a bunch of expenses and bills to pay, paid my rent until october - as a result my roll is still pretty small. I have a great relationship with Keith/Keys and am happy at the moment. Maybe in the future I'll look into playing the 2/5 and 5/10 games that run on a friday / deepstack/ festivals etc because that's where I want to be headed.

Boshi - the DTD system is pretty good now - there are 4types of games on offer

1) 50/1 100cap, no straddles (as before)
2) 50/1 200cap, straddles
3) 1/2 50min/400max
4) 1/2 200min/no max

The rake is £7 for all of them. Last night there was two 1/2 games, capped and uncapped and maybe 4/5 50/1s all of which were the 200cap ones as far as I know.

Rich - no, I get about 2900 overall, I owe about 1900 in stakeback as I won 3800 on the 1/2 this month. I've won 900ish at 50/1 which is why there's a difference.

Aha, I see.

So those on the smallest games are getting battered by the rake now - which was already pretty high.
The .50/1 with a bigger buy-in was what quite a few had wanted for a while, so that's good.

Do you think the two types of 1/2 game will work? Be interesting to see what people play/want to play...

The rakes in Vegas were 10% up to 4 or 5$ in the 1-3 and 1-2 games I was playing which I thought was ok. Doesn't seem to affect numbers wanting to play though at dtd despite it being £7. I guess it's a price you have to pay for a good atmosphere, good dealers and free drinks. I would rather pay the extra and the club stay open than it struggle. Will be interesting to see if the higher sit downs on the .5/1 games changes the action at all.

Oh I absolutely understand that the club needs to make money, otherwise there are no games for anyone to play.

The new .50/1 game sounds ideal for me, just hope there's plenty of interest in it (which I guess there will be).

Deepstack cliffs-

Bossed it for the first 8levels when I had chips, then lost a few chunks and spent the rest of the day grinding the shortstack, playing really solid, never really got any hands/spots or momemtum but have made it through to day two with 48k average 78 i think. 22 made it through. Stato 3rd in chips too.

day 1b tomorrow, and play resume for all the day 2ers 12pm on sunday. Would be a reasonable start to the month winning this. One time!
