just asking sort of light heartedly in a sort of way but if you are calling a mates all in with just backdoors are you not disrespecting your friendship. especially as he is a nice guy Wink greed is a horrible thing with money being the route of all evil

dont worry jase, did no such thing. never stacked nick in my life in fact. im too afraid in case his violent streak unleashes itself and i'm sitting within striking distance. hence why you'll always see me on the opposite side of the table to him and julian, usually next to mitch where I can use his belly as a shield.

i did however have to call off a bowl shove with just backdoors and overs and got there vs flopped trips was pretty com.
hmmm now nick being conservative with the truth as well . sitting to the right of mitch has to be one of the worst seats. with you 4 on one table must be a tough living considering the rake.

very rare to have more regs than fish on the table. Games are really good atm. Even with loads of regs on the table the fish that play make it worthwhile

cool. keep up the good work. sometimes maybe think that you are putting too many eggs into the cake in some of the situations in pha. playing live cash with the fish is more about your opponent than the correct maths play imo. obv when multitabling for hours on end then pokerstove becomes an essential tool in your armoury.

ok jase Wink

Do you ever play cash?  Not seen you on the cash tables at deeteedee.  Obviously it's because you're running deep in the £300 until the bubble usually...

2 weekends ago he claimed he was coming down for the 2/5 or 5/10 game with Rob. Saw him playing 50/1 having busted the 50freeze.

only ever played  dc or a few times with rob at dtd. came down to play the vip game but was full. my mate got in it by saying he would sit with £5k if they made it 9 handed. rob snap accepted. they ended up playing heads up and i think rob will blog about this at some point.

ended up trying to teach another mate in 50/1 a few things in cash but the tables kept breaking (ended up on 3 different ones). ended up on 1/2 after a while but the game was tez. my mate actually doubled  me up with my own money lol.
dont remember it being  a£50 freezeout comp tho coz i only played one of those rrecently and it was the night i met shelly bedi and i won that comp (and that was  a saturday). with it being a vip game night i guess i was there playing a deepstack or monte sat. not 100%  sure tho.

for the info of everyone who doesn't know...

"pokerstove" is not something that is used in a situation and not useful in another. It is simple maths that is applicable to any hand and almpst impossible to calculate in-game. "playing you're opponents" over the maths in complete rubbish because you use you're knowledge of your opponent to give him a range of hands and "pokerstove" simply tells you what your chances of winning is vs those hands. If you get the "reading your opponent" bit wrong then the pokerstove would be useless.

also Alex - do you wanna join team lil dave for small stake online PLO? just say the word.

Not for the moment Dave, thanks anyway. I'm happy doing what I'm doing, not planning on devoting much time to PLO just occasionally if I'm bored.

Great 1/2 game tonight. Up 1300, running good Smiley

not gonna argue with the pair of you . but cant see  it being a super 50  coz it will have been a friday night.  we came to play the vip game and remember rob being a bit miffed coz security wanted us to leave the building (something to do with insurance and opening hours) and remember catherine having ago at me rolling in at 8am saturday morning and i was looking after the kids all day as she was at work.

You sure he wasn't trying to pick you up?!

Good to meet you last night and wp. Getting 3 streets on A-x-x-x-x with the aces was, presumably, one of the more straightforward pots...!

Yes it was, enjoyed the game. Shame the board doesn't come 9high vs your Dad, then I get paid the lot, but hey, guess I'm just greedy like that! The father/son dynamic at the table was entertaining and I enjoyed watching the battles from the armchair!
