Thought it was really self explanatory?

If u cant afford to pay, first thing u must do is nip- after 6 weeks in Vegas and everyone is doing it in, no-one wants to lend so obviously all look away. Different era i guess

Oh right. Yeah that was pretty self explanatory. I was levelling myself.

Done it a while back- good few years ago in Vegas, eating in FIX which is basically a hyped up fast food joint. Everyone doing it in, been there way too long- im hungover as hell, dont wanna eat there- take one for the team- only order Sashimi starter as a main, and drink water. Get moaned at for complaining about flipping card in, put it in, lose 6 way knowing card is a million. Rest of table knows this, and as i look up everyone one is tactically looking away trying not to laugh, except one person who made the amateur mistake of keeping eye contact. Cheers Demps Smiley

People have asked me to keep them updated on how the others have been getting on, so I'll hazard a guess.

Mitch - played a couple of 2/5 sessions and the 400euro turbo. Might be a small loser. Hang on, let me rephrase that. He is probably down a bit for the trip.

Stato - Up a lot, running like god in everything atm, up 3.5-4k for the trip. Is sure he's just an absolute genius and thinks it'll last forever. One day, he'll understand.

Thigh - up about 300

Keith - made day two of EPT with 2k more than starting stack.

Keys- busted a couple of levels before the end of the day with KK<QQ Sad

Not sure how Tom giveyourcash has been getting on, Mark Mccluskey won about 1.4k the first night but has played a bricked a few comps too.

I'm up E300 from one session of 2/5 and about k online.

Up about €3,200 for the trip not including flippents.

wow, excellent work sir.

Never mind. Jinxed self obv.

Prague Day Three

Another great day. Slept in till 4, made my first trip to the gym in about 2 years. Did upper body weights for about 40 minutes, was shocked at how weak I'd gotten compared to when I used to go all the time. Used to be surprisingly strong for a lanky 11 stone kid, worked out 3/4 times a week during 6th form and 1st year uni and was in really good shape. Now I've managed the tricky art of being skinny and flabby at the same time. Not nice. Poker diet can gtfo, I will join a gym and get fit again!

Had a really really nice relaxing swim afterwards, it was dark by this time (in the gym so long, see) and no-one else was in the pool. did some cheeky back stroke looking up at the starry sky, was a nice moment lol.

Showered and wandered down to the casino, played some cash before the 400euro turbo fun began. That was uneventful, but the turbo wasn't - came 2nd for 2.5k wiiii Smiley

The bubble took aggges even though it was 5 handed and average stack was <10 bigs for part of it! Pretty sick end to the bubble period, a guy with 6k (blinds 4k/8k) was utg and showed a deuce and folded, got a round penalty for exposing his hand and therefore was certain to be eliminated next hand - ouch! Meanwhile during this hand (in which he was still offically in), Mark Mccluskey had shoved the button for 3bigs and the big blind called and put him at risk, AQ vs K3. He held, but would've been so sick to be knocked out then when he was gtd the 800euro mincash if he folded.

Got heads up with just over 200k out of the 260k in play, but couldn't convert. lost 5/6 allins heads up, sigh. Luckily the pay structure was pretty ridic, payouts were 800/1600/2500/3400 so reeeeeealy flat so basically 800euros each step up - weird. Was obv a total crapshoot, but 6/9 of the final table had no idea about stack sizes/ push/fold strat or anything like that so it was still possible to have massive edge even with 15 bigs.

Mark came 3rd so Keith and Keys took down half the prizepool whilst out on the piss, mbn! makeup down to 5k now whoop!

The GSOP main event starts at 1pm tomorrow, hope I haven't used up my rungood too soon!

*should mention that the guy hadn't been given the penalty until after Mark shoved, otherwise he would've been in a strange spot. 3 bigs on the button with AQ...fold and you locked up 800 euro. Folding everything pretty much right?
