The Chinese guy is the gentleman I decided I would hand my bettings discs over to.
I thought I would get in a big two purr on the turn vs his bottom pair/ gutshot and flush draw..
Sadly the dealer refused to let me hold and instead granted him one of his many outs. However it was the biggest pot I've ever lost, beating the previous biggest I'd ever lost............................................................ an hour earlier. So all in all it was a record breaking day for me.
LOVE THE BIG POTS!!!

Did my best..
ever since I read Jared Tendlers book I find that in spots like that where I get in a 'big pot' I don't care about the loss because who doesn't want to get in a £1.3k+ pot with 70.45% n the turn..?
I care less about their flawed logix, or BS reasons for doing things, its all about my game and my performance and keeping them happy so they come back next week. I know you're a big one nowadays when it comes to getting games going, keeping them going and enjoying their returning custom. Just a shame after I made that 'very thin'/ potentially spazzy river raise in the previous big pot that night. This one I'd 'earned' imo.
JT ftw!
all about the long term innit.

Great weekend, the commentary went really well, I think Simon and I worked well together and I felt more comfortable doing it for the second time.
Game selected well afterwards and played DC instead of a tough 1/2 game. Went pretty well, won about 300. Sat with 100 and trebled up in super stud, with an 8 low, flush draw and gutshot vs two players, one with a bare (better) low draw and the other with two pair. Get there for the high and the guy misses his low draw so I scoop. Pretty fortunate to scoop but I would expect to win half most of the time, rarely getting scooped there.
Win a decent pot in 6hilo as well raising utg with AQQJ52 dbl and getting 6 callers, potting flop for 48 on AQ9r, getting three callers, betting 225 on 3 turn and shoving my last 150 on a 7 river. Although I only have 2nd set, it's basically the nuts for the high since I have a blocker to AA and would sometimes get 3bet pre so pretty unlikely to be beat for the high, I have the 2nd nut low with 52 but that's not likely to be good in 6hilo. I get called by both and chop - one has 24 and a bricked wrap, the other (wadey) has 24 and AQ (which is never good vs me in that spot).
Haven't played DC for ages cos the holdem games have been so good lately, good to play again, really enjoyed it and improving so fast.
Football again tomorrow, then grinding online all night. On course for 20k hands this month but need to carry on putting the hours in. Can have a break in february in thaiillllandddd!!!!!!!!!

do you mean the "stamp" or your attempt to make it look like you're interested in football?

Decent day today. Smashed em at football, 10-3, 10-7. They're convinced the teams are even, but I think our teams is better. Maybe they have better individuals but we work really well as a team, and have good team morale and we communicate with each other better for sure. Lots of fun again.
Then we went to see our favourite DTD chinese fish - Ming - who owns a chinese takeaway place and said we should come down. He's a hero, really lovely guy, and loves the game. He gave 4 of us a takeaway for £20, what a legend.
Online went well. Think I won a bit at 1/2, played about 900 hands. Came 2nd out of 165 in the las vegas team challenge 20$ rebuy, dunno how much for but somewhere between 6-800 I reckon. Was fun.
Was winding down for the night, closed everything down (finished watching source code - meh) then decided to deposit a bag on xxxx to play this guy heads up at 2.50/5. Andy and Mitch were both playing him on seperate tables and say he's not great, but once he loses a buyin or two, he tilts really bad and just goes crazy. We start fairly even, then Andy stacks him on one table, and suddenly he 3bets massive on my table, I click back TT and he 5b jams 88 and I hold for £500. Next hand he opens, I find kings wiii, 3b to 40 and he just shoves 500 with A5ss, hold again wiii! Up a bag in <10 minutes!
Lost quite a buyin back with A5dd vs AK on K53dd, don't get there sigh, but won about 500 overall in the end. Will be back to play him tomorrow night i reckon, though will have to fight with Mitch and Andy for table space as word is spreading!
A comma day overall -always nice. #lovethegame
