Alex - if you go to Monte Carlo today, do try & dine at the Cafe de Paris, on one of the outside tables, overlooking the Grand Casino. It will be right up your street - proper posh.
Will have a look, might be a bit pricey for me from what I've heard!

Only one other from 1a from what I saw / 150, a guy called Ben Jones, but he busted so it's just me flying the flag from 1a I think.
I thought this guy on my right was British but then I found out he was David Peters who's a massive sicko!

Perfectly natural to feel different being bust out of a competition that has been so life changing and important to you in the past.I felt the same when I bust out of the Incredible Hundred.

While I've been away, newly relegated DTD Degens have been relegated (fair enough, we lost every match at least 5-0) but have put in some excellent pre season training work with a fitness camp in Marbella where we played tennis, swam and even wrestled to get our fitness levels up. We improved our tatical awareness by gathering in local pubs to watch superior teams play. Rob Yong has provided us with a new kit for the season (actually true)

And the results are showing already! We kicked off the campaign with a 16-3 victory on wednesday (sadly I missed it). And here is the league table (taken a picture in case it never happens again)
oioi!!!!
I was considering leaving the team but now we're in a league more our standard and not getting battered every week, morale is back on the up and I'm hoping to get a place in the lineup next week.

You'll probably need to win the comp to pay for a cup of tea though, I imagine.

I don't recall it being that dear, Skippy. Not cheap, obv, but all things considered, very reasonable, as I recall.

Direct correlation between you not being there and doing a win me thinks
Last time I bought a footy shirt with Dtd on, A week later Rob sold the club for a quid because he got a mardy on with the F.A. or so I hear. And it was not because they went for Hodgson
And some of the names of your opposition are great

Ben Jones plays with us in Leeds, very nice kid and a really really good player - one to watch.... (you heard it here) if you're stuck for some company you'd defo get on great with him.
