Also, lol at some of the names that are being cited as examples of long-run winning players in live tourneys.
yh +1. Honeybadger, not sure how much smashedagain experience you've had, so just to fill you in on his cliffnotes. 1) he has over $100,000 in cashes on his hendon mob 2) he HAS BEEN to marakesh but not my place to say what he did and how muich he won there 3) he LOVES comparing some terrible players to good proven winning players 4) he has no idea any form of poker really exists outside of live turnaments 5) he has a porsche on his driveway 6) he has some sick hoody's 7) he is hilarious and LOVES CAUSING trouble  will bring up the old vs young debate during a christening if the opportunity even remotely presented itself. oi you missed out been super nova twice and used to make a living on line when you only had to play 4 hands and wait to be paid off. |

they are a different game and a lot of online guys don't adjust well to the live game
Pretty much this. Winning online high stakes MTT regs just aren't used to playing the types of players you find in live £1ks, or at least they haven't been since they were grinding small stakes MTTs online. So much standard stuff online (even against the fish at high stakes online MTTs) becomes ridic spewy vs passive nits playing live £1ks I think its a patience thing too. Its really tough to make that super nitty fold live when even if you bust you can grind online and get in 30x the volume or go chill in the bar. |
