Getting bored live is certainly something I have experienced after getting used to grinding online, it's why I hardly ever bother playing live anymore, once every 3-4 months I start to think I'm missing something, sure am. I do enjoy playing the Monte Carlo's ( obv
) and will try to play the odd UKIPT but apart from that I'd rather just play online. Congrats on the good day.
PS Cheers.
Don't get me wrong, most days I love it - it all depends on the table, i don't like just sitting in silence and one of the reasons I love playing live over online is the table banter, being sociable, having a laugh. but occasional you get a table where this is nonexistent so it makes it a bit shit.
dont u get bored/lonely behind your computer all day?

I don't, but I like being on my own, most of my live poker experiences are "a bit shit". Also I'm guessing that the times when you enjoy it are the times when there are people you know such as Mitch, Simon etc playing and although this is fun it's not really great from a perspective of you wanting to earn a living having players that are better than you on your table.

You always find something to grumble at david!
I'm just playing my Grumpy Old Man card Alex, and making a semi-brag which is also a moan that I'm in a run of tourney play where I can build a decent stack to take into the middle stages of tournaments but can't hold onto it long enough to exploit my masterful bubble play skills.

not at all, although yeh its fun sharing a table with them, mostly what im referring to is the banter with the regs, not so much at DTD, but definitely at gala, there's a load of ppl who are a good laugh to share a table with, but who I'd also consider great spots.
also the dealers like JK, Sean (zerofive), Will (sulphurman) are good company. Last night I even found myself switching tables based on who's dealing at them.

haha sick read by me. although you're right, they are better. its weirdly rock/paper/scissors-esque with us and andy. We each have our own nemeses. Deadman crushes Andy. Andy crushes Me. Mitch crushes Deadman. I cant claim to crush any, but I seem to have done rather well against Mitch in the past (won my 1st and 3rd biggest ever pots of him ty), and pretty good vs simon over a small sample. but it is strange how we each fair so differently against each other.
And yes, I definitely still prefer live.
