I was expecting a proper gay sailor image to be put on, when i saw the weak effort i thought i would resolve the issue myself.  I typed Gay Sailor into google images with the intent on posting it itt, my 24inch screen gave the office quite a shock. I just closed it down and put my head down.

ps. DO NOT type gay sailor in google images!

Good news today. Been struggling with the 50/1 at DTD recently, making a bit but basically I've come to the conclusion that it's just not profitable enough. The games are too small, raked too high and I don't really enjoy them that much, which affects my ability to put in the hours necessary. Many believe that it's impossible to beat the rake in those games. I disagree, I have crushed it pretty hard over the last few months. Up £1.9k over 238hours which = £8/hour which @30hands/hour is  27big blinds /100hands which is a pretty decent winrate. But still £8/hour is not enough.

Although I've been good over the last few months at cutting down life spew and keeping living costs low, the big downswing I've gone through and being partial to the odd weekend away with the boys / hannah, has meant my roll has been steadily declining.

It's now at the point where every 50/1 buyin lost is hurting and it's harder to make the correct plays/push small edges/take marginally +ev but high variance lines etc so I was looking for a way out. So was pleased to hear Keith drunkenly suggest on our Friday night pissup in Slovenia that he'd stake me for 1/2 at DTD. He denied this in the morning ofc and assumed I was grimming (I was, shhhhhhhhh). Keys wanted in on the deal too (as any rational being would) and the two of them have since put together a deal which is going to start tonight!!!!

Really excited, love playing 1/2, it's so much better, and the games recently have been really good I've heard. There's a bunch of new people playing it, and the games aren't that big, most people sitting with 200-600 so it's ideal. The rake is far more profitable and I think I'm going to do really well in the long run. The deal is with makeup, so there's a danger I get stuck in a hole but I think it's the best move for me right now.

Let's hope it works out!

Wife, daughters, granddaughters, mothers, mothers-in-law, sisters, aunties, nieces etc, all going on holiday to Cornwall together tomorrow.

21 of them in total.

I wouldn't go with them for a brass pig.

Alex seems intelligent enough, so I left the smiley off.
