If peejay doesn't like sitting deep surely the sensible thing to do is go and sit in the 50p £1 game?

It's not that I don't like sitting deep. I sat 200bb's at the start of the session in a short handed game with Alex, Mitch & Kieth Johnson. I believe they all have an edge on me and can put me in alien spots really deep that I wouldn't normally encounter. So after getting a double up early in the session and having to sit 1k deep in a tough game, it's a good spot for Al I apply pressure imo. I know some people would say whats the point in plying in a game with better people but ideally enjoy it and think its a really good opportunity to learn. Also playing like a massive nit helps

and this helps

PJ opens the cutoff to £12, I 3bet the button with to £32 (never 3bet this light usually but felt like pounding on PJ a bit since he was £1k deep and doesn't like playing that deep). Ajit cold calls! PJ calls.

wiiiiiiiii. Check check I bet £45, Ajit calls, PJ folds

wiiiiiiiiii part two. Check I bet £105, Ajit raises to £280 wiiiiiiiiiiiii part three. I call.

River he instantly moves allin for £600 (part four) I call and beat what I thought must be a flush. No, I beat Cheesy

SKILL GAME.

Really pumped for tonight's 2/5 game. It's been arranged in advanced by DTD and has a fun looking lineup. No Mitch, No Keith, No Stato, PJ on the waiting list Cheesy

There's Kurt, Terry, Ian Gascoigne, Ajit, Belton, Nik Markou, Simon Connors and Plintanon - will be really fun and BIG. Expect a good TR.

Off to Chiquitos for food now.

First interesting hh of the night.

Gascoigne limps btn on Lintons 10 straddle. Simon connors completes SB, Linton rasies to 40. Gascoigne makes it 210. Connors cold calls! Linton calls.

653r, Connors leads for 300, Linton folds. Gascoigne sighs and looks at Connors stack which is now about 700. Gascoigne calls the 300.

Turn . A quick check from both.

River , Connors bets 500, quick fold from Gascoigne!

Ian claimed pockets fours.

As I wrote this I was busy flopping quads with 55 on 755, Ian peels the flop with the 43o and turns a 6 Wink

We get in 550 on the turn and he finds the fold on the action killing 7 river. How bad do I run?!

Ian claimed pockets fours.

Confirmed. He showed me on the flop so i presumed he was folding. Almost spat my tea everywhere when he called. What a hero.
