Also did Sam say they said yes? And how did they agree, did they just say yes, did they say "ill have the max"?
Seems pretty unlikely that they'd both try to grim you/forget/be surprised when u later tell them about it. Especially with me not around to actively encourage such activity.

Thing is what happens if PJ wins and this morning I tell him he's won?
He's like what I didn't buy any / didn't know about this?
Then what? I'm like well who gets the $520 then, me?
You think he's gonna say "yeh I guess mate, enjoy it"?

Probs why you should be clear about who's bought what, esp when its in our house and making these casual suggestions. Think its pretty clear we didnt know... but although I wasnt that interested in doing it... obv would have taken the money due to the above... and thus will pay up. Just need to be clearer when booking this kinda stuff.

Doing omaha flips winding down after the session. Sam goes off to the toilet. I then get a skype call. He wants to carry on the flips and rail via skype. Was squeezing his cards for him while he was squeezing one out, weirdest moment ever! #20poundpoo

Ethical spot: I ran this sweepstake yesterday for the last card of the main. We needed to sell a few more cards so I asked Tom Sam and PJ who were in the living room if they wanted any, and told them what it was.
At the time I thought they was no ambiguity, all three said they were in for the max, 4 cards at $10 a card. Put them down for it and put it on the tab.
Just now it comes up in conversation, and Tom and PJ claim they never agreed to it. Sam knows he did because we spoke about what his cards he had etc, but the other two, especially PJ are sure they didn't agree.
Thigh has taken the moral high ground and agreed to pay because he knows I wouldn't have made it up and he would've taken then money if he'd won
. PJ however...
Im not saying you havnt made up me agreeing... because I didnt realise you even asked if i wanted any... therefore defo didnt say yes. But yer, obv would take the money if i'd won... so although i probs wouldnt have bought 4... i will give you the $
He probably did ask you, but your head was most likely elsewhere

Pretty sick month
Obviously really happy with it, lost £7k over the last 4 days though, so not feeling as great as I was before, but it's still my 2nd best ever month so I'm dead happy with it of course.
Pretty huge swings - I've had my two biggest losing day ever, 3 of my top 4 winning days ever, more than doubled my biggest ever winning cash game session and had my biggest ever losing month online! PJ and Jack have got the lot too so even when I've had shit days they've got me out of it - it's been a really fun month! Add sick trips to Latvia and Estonia, really good football sessions and some other cool stuff going on - definitely been the best month of the year so far
Due a huuuuge downswing imo, we're £7k in already, hopefully it won't be too brutal or even more hopeful, not happen at all

Congrats Alex, it is astonishing how you do this month after month.
The balance helps of course - there are 4 or more strings to your bow - but very few seem able to win at ANY format (consistently), never mind the whole range. A single winning month, or even two, would be utterly meaningless, but this has continued for a year or more now.
I must try to avoid getting all fatherly & delivering a sermon.....but, if you keep your nose clean, & avoid serious leaks or the temptations of degeneracy, you really do have a cushty life ahead of you. Don't take that for granted - that is a one in a million situation you have there.
Delighted for you.

Not really. Obviously if you're staked, then that should be taken into account with your figures. But any staking of other players is a separate thing from your actual poker playing revenue. It's like a separate business venture.

yeh i know, i meant I should probably include them in a separate thing like live cash/live comps/staking etc.
I'm not staked for anything except sell bits for £1ks+ and if I ever cash in one of those (0 this year
) then I put down whatever I've made from it. Eg Monte carlo went down as a £36k win not £77 cos that's what I made from it.
