Am I missing something. I assumed its just banter with you and James. You don't moan on the thread because everything is usually rosey. It's your diary and is warts and all which makes it a good read.

Not really sure if this is a massive level but clearly it's pretty dirty. Long term etc zzzzzzzzzzz but AA<<<66 with 17 left is brutal. PS Did I mention the time I was 97% fav vs Ellwood with 80k up top and didn't win thanks for bringing it up met. Your shitty staking money was to blame, Alex had've been involved would've held obv. That said plz keep backing me kthxbye. I'm clearly not actually ribbing you that hard... I can guess how it must suck to get AA when short with 17 left and be like "here comes the double up!" I constantly think about how different my year would have been if I'd won my flip vs G2L... and that's a flip ffs. I could see the % signs on the 'tv show' after the 997 flop... thinking here we go, this is a big double, just gotta fadeee..... You can of course mention stuff like this mate, I guess the only reason i mentioned it is that when its pair vs pair. It's just so likely they'll put you on AK and snap off. Whereas if it had been like your AK vs someones A3o then you have a genuine WTF moment (with more equity) and you lost it. Does that make sense?
I've had a long day and somehow only eaten McD's for the last 3 days... so I'm probably about to die of body failure anyways. no offence meant - obv i hope. Genuine WTF moment just reading that. Please don't post again explaining though. Let's forget about it. Peace.

This could be kettle pot moment especially coming from me but here goes anyway. You often find that people poke more fun at someone because of their success. Bants are all well and good between mates but there is quite a fine line between poking fun and being malicious. You probably are gonna get both barrels because you are the "golden child" and there will be people out there waiting for the wheels to come off. If you give it you have to take it as they say. This however is not a wheels off moment and is not even close. I would only describe this as a puncture on the Goulder juggernaut. Your life is rosey, all the travelling, new bird, great mates and no one to say "Oi Goulder you will have to stop back after work and do some overtime". How you deal with the minor blips are the true measure of the man and when you find out about the real person. Best solution is win the EPT and the status quo is resumed. Want to tell you about my life changing hand but have to go up to the kids school fayre. It's all about priorities and the things that are important.

wp at the Gukpt Pete. Everyone obv wanted Sam to win the heads up battle but if Sam could not close then you were definatly their 2nd choice.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
