guessing the dealer sits out?

yup, 5 handed for the FT only though and maybe sometimes at the start if there's say 3 full tables, and someone late regs, make one table 5 handed.

would love to play and as today is my last working day there is nothing stopping me. Wiiii

Never played ofc live and never been to gala.  what's parking and dress code like? Do I need my own stab vest?

Final question, from the pics it looks like the game is 5 handed.  how does that work assuming it's not 2 decks?

It's a grovesner now not sure if they have fully changed the branding over yet it used to be I think £4 in the car park if you got your card validated at the cash desk or there is on street parking there which is like £1 before 8 and free after 8. Stab vest advised but not a nessisity

tyty. Probs don't have to sign up then either as it's a Grovesnor. Will digout the old riot gear just in case.

Will get eaten alive by the OFC sharks but it should be fun.

If there is a buffet you will 100% need the riot gear. Some of the Nottingham regs get a bit nasty when an outsider goes for their free food

Grovesnor now gives free parking to all Poker players. They validate it at the cash desk.

It's pretty hard to smash any "biggest ever" records on a Wednesday or Thursday night in Nottingham, but I've done two in the last two days.

Biggest 50/1 pot

Biggest OFC losing session.

We'll start with OFC because that ended about 20 minutes ago so is pretty fresh (/raw!). I've played a lot of heads up OFC with Fred and he was definitely due a session like this. We played £5/point with 7 starting cards and 2 wild cards, so that plays pretty big. For those of you new with OFC, bad beat stories are no more interesting than Hold'em bat beat stories so I'll spare you. Cliffs: I ran bad.

I was down quite a bit more until the last three hands we played double points (£10/point) and I made a straight flush to win a chunk back. Silver lining...

Was pretty pleased with my discipline to quit at 3.30 like I said I would because I'm trying to get on a normal sleeping pattern for next week, so always need at least 4 days to prepare, going to bed an hour earlier each day. Pretty hard to quit and have an "early" night when you're doing your bollocks lol.

And the biggest ever 50/1 pot, about £1600, funnily enough also vs Fred.

It doesn't paint him in the best light but tbf he had been brutalised and was steaming hard.

Kurt is in the £8 straddle and down to £95 and almost definitely going all in blind. He pretty much announced he was going to shove blind.

Fred raises to £30 from the sb, I flat with , PJ flats, Kurt jams blinds £95. Fred makes it £200 with £450 back. I jam covering, PJ folds, he calls with KJ.

We run our side pot twice and I get a sweat on JTxx ACE ON THE RIVER, and a 33448 on the second for the scooooop. Kurt had T4 lol and regretted his decision to run his pot once!

Sky Poker Tour at the weekend, looking forward to that Smiley
