Really enjoyed the Sky Grand Final at the weekend, wish I had lasted a bit longer to enjoy it some more though! Got in 30bbs bvb with AKo vs KJo and despite the first two cards being an ace, I did not hold  Played cash after which was fun, even dabbled in some plo with lildave (he stacked me  ) Took Sunday off online grinding for the first time in ages (my flight to Riga is 8am from Luton so wanted to drive down tonight) and watched both football matches on sky and then gave the DC lads a spin at DTD! Made a nice change, haven't missed playing online at all lately. Just seem to grind sundays these days. Can't wait to see Victoria tomorrow in Riga  |

He won the money through poker. His family, as far as i know, Alex's parents never gave him any money to lose. I lost a weeks wages today. But I'd won it previously, playing poker. Do I need to get a "fucking job" too? |

LOL so who is allowed to lose big pots? people from poor backgrounds who have grinded up the money? or do you believe there should be a cap on all pots of a couple of weeks wages? which wages do we us? Of a 16 year old apprentice? Of a mid level manager? |

If you had read his diary, then you would know that Alex had a working as a poker dealer while at Uni. Pretty sure that qualifies as a real job with real world pay. |

I read it regularly, but still don't really understand where you're coming from, Nick. Whilst it may not afford the freedom that playing poker does, I personally think that working a 'real job' is easier than playing poker for a living. Don't hate the player, hate the game |
