I just popped into my local florist to buy flowers for my lovely wife for our first wedding anniversary

Guess how much I was quoted for a dozen roses? 6 red and 6 White incase that matters

(I didn't want roses btw, he just suggested as there were no bouquets made up)

Supposedly bad luck to mix red & white roses so great suggestion by the florist there.

It's paper for 1st anniversary not flowers. Get a nice A4 lined pad with margins.

I was flabbergasted at £48!

I mean it's not like valentines or anything!

Fortunately Shelley wouldn't want me to pay that for flowers so the florist can keep trying! They weren't even super amazing roses or anything! Just average! £4 Per flower I think not!

I also have the upper hand! Shelley got her dates wrong and thought it was the 9th whereas it's actually the 8th (confusion stemming from both of us only really remembering the date we flew out)! It is in the bank! Wiiiiiiii
