Sweet, a QPR thread on a poker forum, can’t get any better, apart from when U R’s takes down the championship title! Next season make the top 5 and then back in to Europe, great times for Rangers again! Thanks for the welcome Camel

Everything points to us winning comfortably today, were it not for the fact we're live on the telly, which always seems to jinx us.

Wiiiiiii - that second goal was a thing of beauty. Lovely pass with the outside of the boot by Taarabt and a great first touch from Routledge.

V sad.

"BBC Radio Sheffield too. Sheffield Wednesday are set to sign 28-year-old midfielder Lee Cook from QPR. "

He was fantastic during his first spell with the club, but his second spell has been ravaged by injuries.

His act of waiving his share of transfer fee to let the club have the money was one of the best gestures I've ever heard from a footballer.

Good luck at Wenesday Cookie.

Sky sports presenter said he was injured when it happened. Limped off at half time. Dunno if he came back out.

Just been reminded it's been 15 years since Queens Park Rangers were last in the Premiership.

I was a young man when Eric fckin Cantona sent us down inm the 12th minute of injury time.

Huge week coming up. Away v Reading followed by home v Forest.

If we can get through these two games unbeaten, or 1 win, 1 loss, I think we will be nearly there.

Lose these two and it's wide open again.

C'MON YOU R'sssssssssssssssssssssssss.

Really? Sigh.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/9383510.stm

Queens Park Rangers are yet to win at the Madejski Stadium. Their last away triumph against Reading was at Elm Park in September 1997.
Mike Sheron, Houston's flagship capture and still the club's record signing, made his debut that night.

Can't be too many Prem/Championship teams whose record signing was over 13 years ago?

I would say our top 3 most expensive signings were all from that era.

Sheron, Spencer and Peacock.

I know Brighton's record signing is Andy Ritchie for 300k from Man Utd in 1980!
