excuse and analysis for tuesday night lol
7.40pm saxon warrior tapped well enough but slipped after a stride or two. was well supported on track but dont think it would have beat 3 which showed great early and won very well and looks a nice bitch.
8.00pm bower suffer is really out of form whereas rocky bolted out to make all and although tiring close home never looked like being caught.
8.15pm trap 5 bigstrongpup as expected tracked straight across to the rail out the traps but managed to clear everything by the turn and stayed on well to win.my selection sizzlers spirit stayed on well but never threatened to be fair.
8.35pmni a disappointing slow start by trap 1 here put paid to its chance especially when the winner risky wand was on a going day.
8.50pm ministry magic ran an awful race but anyone who backed trap 3 lillishin masia must have been gutted after leading this dog should never be caught. ayamzagirl is back to its old ways, running on well catching the hound in front then running with it, a dodgepot indeed!!!
9.10pm odell faith showed he isnt just a nottingham specialist with a good win here. my selection bodell clare trapped well enough but went walkabout at the 2nd turn putting pay to any chances she may have had.
9.25pm best performance of the night by oaks heroine freedom emma. very fast greyhound on a going day and should be in great demand when she becomes a brood bitch upon retirement. trap 1 my selection was well supported but a tardy start was always gona see her in emmas shadow.
9.40pm hooray at last a winner though no use to any my bets obv!! dog to follow in 6 bend events i feel as has that great combination traps and stays.
so a great start to the year! had a few these last year. i seem to run well or run bad, either have 6/7 winners or have 0/1. suppose thats the best way when you betting in multiples mainly.
ok profit/loss 2011 -£115
romford next wednesday for the coronation cup which is at the semi stages at the moment but already has a warm order favourite in honey trampas. romford was my local track growing up and holds some great memories hopefully we can find a few winners next wednesday!

ok tonight live on sky is the final and the undercard of the coral coronation cup run over 575 meters. hopefully i can do a little better than last week
7.40pm a puppy race with some pretty speedy animals and preference for me is the favourite trap 4 freedom chief, seamus cahill's charge trialled well round here and looks the fastest in the race. selection trap 4 freedom chief 5/4
8.00pm first of 3 575 metre races on the card and it looks pretty tricky affair.i like red here coolvaney rocks, he can win both ways and i think he will hold his inside position early and pick up likely leader bubbly valasco close home. selection trap 1 coolvaney rocks 4/1
8.15pm a hurdles race with all the usual suspects. bigstrongpup and junior mac might just hold each other early which should leave track specialist lenson flash clear on the wide outside where he should hold on to win. selection trap 5 lenson flash 7/2
8.35pm 575 metre affair where most of the top trainers have contenders. trap 1 barnfield rocky looks well drawn but my preference is for trap 5droopys master. im a real fan of this hound, sometimes tardy early but if he can negotiate the first 2 bends successfully just watch his middle pace. if timing the start right he will go faster than the winner of the final imo. selection trap 5 droopys master 4/1 nap
8.50pm interesting 10 bend race over 925 metres. 4 of last weeks distance event runners reoppose with the winner ayamzagirl looking to confirm superiority over the 3 that finished behind her though in killishin masia's case a very small margin. i like the look of 6 here mercury rose, a very fast winner here on more than 1 occasion over 8 bends and if she stays she will win and theres nothing to say she wont. selection trap 6 mercury rose 2/1
9.10pm back to 4 bends and a very good race. cant see past trap 2 ardbeg mentor here. something of a standing dish at romford he boasts some very quick race times as well as sectionals here. if he traps hw he can and wrestles the rail of red by the turn then he should be away and gone. selection trap 2 ardbeg mentor 7/4 nb
9.25pm 750metre race which sees my selection last week bodell clare renew rivalry with her conqueror odell faith. the race also sees the comeback of midway skipper one of the best staying bitches of recent years. its odell faith for me this time, drawn well in trap 2 and proven that she isnt just a nottingham specialist i can see her leeading off the 2nd bend and pulling away forr a nice victory. selection trap2 odell faith 5/4
9.45pm the final of tthe coronation cup sees a very warm order in t6 honey trampas. yet to put a foot wrong and having alot of its market rivals eliminated in earlier rounds diane henrys dog should be away and gone. selection t 6 honey trampas 1/2
will prob do the same as last week, combine the selections in a fiver yankee and 3 fiver trixies. doubt il put honey trampas in and although it looks a certainty it is one for big playing singles rather than mutiple bets.
whatever your selections good luck

Good thread, I like a dabble on the greyhounds myself when i'm in the country.
I've had a look at tonights card and here are my thoughts...
7.40 T5(4/1) 8.00 T1(9/1) 8.15 T2 (9/4) 8.35 T5 (4/1) 8.50 T1 (5/1) 9.10 T2 (11/4) 9.25 T3 (7/4) (also like T6 7/1) 9.45 T3 (5/4)
I've never heard of those bets you did in this thread turny, but I will look into them and maybe have a go at a yankkee?

nice work action. Biggest price one of the night saves you. Everything else u bet went off half the price on the machine and got beat. The one u back at 6/1 goes off 16/1 on the machine and gags up.

have to admit i was amazed it went off 16/1 given the time it had on its card and the outside bias all night. Didnt make sense to me at all. I couldnt believe the gamble on the one in the last given the bias. Good profitable night though so cant complain.
