With my HSBC business account I need to generate a security code from an HSBC gismo before I can even log on, get one of these and pass the device onto someone to look after.
they can't grim you as the device is useless without the rest of the account details/password etc.

These are being rolled out to personal accounts this year.

so essentially a card reader but you have to use it to log in? or is it more complex than that?
