Cracking thread Dewi, containing some quality posts.
My attempt, the Rb issue, Reina vs Torres and Cesc vs Nasri were the hardest decisions for me.
I feel the gap between Torres and Tevez is less then that between Reina and the rest, and the chance to see Cesc and Essien in the same team sees Nasri miss out.
4/3/1/2
Reina - GK
Bardsley - RB
Cahill - CB
Vidic - CB
Baines - LB
Cesc - M
Adam - M
Essien - M
Van de Vaart - A
Bent - A
Tevez - A
Subs
Begovic - GK
Carroll - A
Samba - CB
Dorrans - M
Hangeland - CB
McFadden - M/A (BCFC have a shit squad)
N'Zogbia - M/A
Doyle - A
Parker - M

Mondatoo - Your team is going up against other Prem Dream teams. I'm not sure you can afford to play a CB out of position at RB. The likes of Malouda and Bale that are getting picked in these teams will rip you apart. I think Carroll and Tevez could work well together but the team seems too attacking. Bale is going to be wasted if not coming forward but with a dodgy RB and no defensive midfielder I think you could run into some problems. The bench looks horrible too. The first XI looks like it isn't playing with much width but there are a few wide players on the bench. Are these here for when Plan A inevitably goes wrong? Carson and Cole picks really mystify me.....ah just found the new formation on page 3. I'm glad you had a rethink. On the surface things look a lot better. However I think you could have issues on the right hand side (as many have) Young will not track back and I think if Cahill is dragged wide your slower CBs could be exposed. Still no holding midfielder? Fellaini or Rodwell to play behind Fabregas would add more balance than the current Cahill selection. I'd hire Big Sam as gaffer as your best bet looks like set pieces.
Somerled - Interesting GK choices. When in form there i think Gordon can be very good. Often injured though and your reserve doesn't inspire confidence. Wrap Gordon up in cotton wool if i were you. Again I think you may have forgotten you are in a contest against other Prem Dream teams. It's just my opinion but I think CB's playing out of position won't cut it. The front 6 look good. I like the attacking weight to the subs bench despite a couple of dubious choices.
Pleno - The is it or isn't it a level team. First off I don't like repeating myself but CBs at RB. Fine if you've got West Ham at home but you're up against the best of the best here. Richard DunneOG at CB is mad. A player on the decline, likely to chip in with a few OGs. Salcido had a good world cup but hasn't been anything to write home about since moving to the prem. Could be a gamble throwing him into what looks like a weak defence. Middle 3 look good and good reasoning to it. As mentioned previously Arteta hasn't been as good this season as previous seasons but the right hand side is proving to be difficult so I don't mind that you've gone with him over somebody like Young. Bench is a mess. Not sure where Delap, Gardner or Noble would fit into your system. Delap picked just because he can take a throw in and Noble picked just because you had to pick a West Ham player? These are just average (at best) prem players. You've picked one striker. You picked Roque Santa Cruz as that striker. I think life on the rock is getting to you. I believe he's only ever scored more than 5 goals in a season once. He's been injured on and off for about 2 years. Looks like you are banking on your first XI being good enough and I fear it won't. There is scope for improvement as Cahill was picked twice and Scharner registered as Wigan player rather than West Brom you still have a Wigan player to add to your squad.
Will start on page 8 in a bit striblings team is giving me a headache...

He asked me to remind everyone that I'm his favourite blonde member and that this thread isn't nearly as super good fun as the xfactor thread. Finally he added that my team didn't get nearly enough love from the Leeds lads suggesting they are total ****s

Birmingham have better defenders than Stephen Carr.
Would rather have Wayne Bridge left wing back and Essien DM than Parker and Cole too. But pretty nice team, 6/10.

Constructive criticsim where possible, Rooks knows his stuff, but is this bench a wind-up?
Those 4 defs are pretty poor imo.
Attacking players change games from the bench, defs are there purely for injuries, why have 4 defs and 1 stk?
At least 3 stk's on the bench needed, plus 2 attacking midfield players.
Sorry Rooks, expected better.
