Personally, I play the game to call with 52o and get there.

Standard. Hijacking your badbeat thread.

Playing at DTD, blinds 400/800 with 50 ante. Average stack is about 13k, I have 26k.
A couple of limpers.
I raise it up to 5,400 with AK on the SB (note I have been playing very tight the only hands I have played and shown in the last three hours are JJ, 87o which was a button raise when blinds were 50/100, AK, Ax, AJ, Ax, Ax).
Villian calls the raise OTB with 12k behind.

Flop comes 345 rainbow. I put Villian all in and he naturally snap calls with 67o!

I go out a couple of hands later with 44 v QT which manages to get a lovely Q8xQ8 board!

Your mistake here was getting outdrawn. Remember this can happen if you get your chips into the pot as a favourite.

However if you get your chips in as a dog you will never get outdrawn, I find this strategy works really well and I never get bad beats. Simples.  :-)

67o isn't a bad hand to play against a nit who is 80% likely to be raising Ax. Chances are you're going to miss and he can win the pot when you check.

As it happens you allowed him to play the flop perfectly by jamming in to his nuts.

Mbn to be him.
