I managed to lay a bit of palmer in the playoff but it was worth loss if he scooped! I had both losing finalists! Ffs

Have chosen my us selections for this week.

1.5 pts ew Rory Sabatini@25-1 (top 5, 1/4 odds)

1pt ew Jason Day 1pt ew@18-1

0.5pt ew Scott Verplank@40-1

0.5 pt ew Charlie Wi@50-1

Balance=40.6 points

European selections:

1pt ew Colesarts@66-1 (top 6)

1pt ew Quiros@40-1 (top 6)

1pt ew Goosen@66-1(top 5)

0.5pt ew Anders Hansen@50-1 (top 5)

Balance=33.6 points.

US looking a washout already with just day-barely-making the cut.

Thankfully quiros is doing well over here and hansen aint outa it, come on boys get me out of it plssssssssse.

Can't not have a sweat in the byron over wknd though and have added watney lurking 4 back at the only firm still doing 4 places each way.

1.5pts ew@6-1 Nick Watney@6-1 (Top 4, 1/5 odds)

Balance=30.6 points.

God this balance is looking poor, more research needed in future or it will all go.

Quiros really did seem to blow up on saturday.

Luckily day provided a return of 5.5 points with a storming finish in2 the top 5 on day 4.

New balance=36.1 points.

Gonna have another go this week myself, last week I layed a bit off Overton to cover about 3/4 of my total bets. Result!

Charley Hoffman @ 140 (Backed him last week @38 and he played like a pig but surely hes valloooo at 140 albeit in a tougher field)

Brian Davis @ 240 ( Same reasons as above and also a bit of persistence to stick with him)

Kenny Perry @ 330 ( Former 2 x winner of this event , worth a dabble imo.)

Waiting to get matched on others too.

Balance=36.1 points.

All ew bets are first 5 1/4 odds this week.

European tour:

2 points win Mcdowell@12-1

1 point win Fisher@25-1

1 point ew lara@125-1

0.5 points ew fasth@125-1

Gone for the two class acts at the top of this dead woody field. Lara is playing well enough this season bar his collapse last weekend, and fasth has a good record here.

US tour:

1.5 points ew kuchar@18-1

1 point ew fowler@40-1

0.5 points ew X 2 Mark wilson@125-1

                           petrovic@200-1

Also- 3.1 points Kuchar top 10@2-1 (ties paid in full)

Balance=20  points.

Kuchar's crse record is immense with 4 finishes inside the top 13 or better in the last 4 years. Looked on form last week and although the win price didn't massively excite me-i'd have had even more on-he looks the one to be on from the market leaders.

Have had to do a very unusual bet for me on him to make the top ten too, i thought 2-1 was more than fair and it evens up the balance!

Surely donald will get lagged out soon enough, does the guy ever take a break-and altho i'm sure he'll be up there, single figures on him looks short enough. From looking at the stats i don't think this is lefty's fave tournament.

Fowler shlda won this last year and is starting to drift in the books odds to backable prices, think he's shown some good signs in recent weeks and surely it's only a matter of time.

The two outsiders are overpriced imo.

Wilson has a third here and has found that winning feeling this season, also two rounds at the colonial hinted at a return to form, we'll discount the last two! Petrovic tied 5th in this last year and has been there or thereabouts on the tour in recent events.

One longshot ew on either side of the pond for me this week.

David Howell @ 150 in Wales and Ricky Barnes @ 140 in The Memorial.

I seem to have a bit of flop-lag going on.

Had Hanson and Webster last week and both are flying high this week in Wales.

always the same on the euor tour. the spread of talent is to even, its just on how they are swinging it that week.
