I did a couple of early bets for The Open - I fear Stricker and Zach will have a good week this week in the states so possibly shrewd to back them now before that happens, we shall see how that works out but anyway....

Stricker @ 65
Zach @ 200

I have a few other orders in, gonna have a big stable come tee off time on the thursday morn!

Really looking forward to it lets just hope Rory dosen't turn it into a procession again.

Instead of just my usual backing players on Betfair to win at big prices with firms doing 7 and 8 places for each way betting on The Open I think i'm gona back 4 or 5 players EW.

If you have say a tenner ew on 5 golfers and just one of them comes in the top 8 @ 33/1 or 40/1 your looking at breaking even. 50/1, 66s, 80s, 100s your making a decent profit.

Surely that is achievable at the very very least.

Now just to find the players.

Aye he will prob spark up a fat one on the back 9 if he aint playing well!  He must have been half baked alright when he got his putter at toys 'r' us.

I have been labelled Garrigus by a couple of mates I play a weekly game of Pitch & putt with, the wedge i use is alot smaller than a standard club it's akin to a childs club really, but It does the job Wink

Absolutely champion puntering by me this week in the golf!

I've backed 6 players, 2 have withdrawn, I have 3 players in T94 pos and the other in T110

I need storming rounds from these guys just to make the cut!!!

Romero was backed for his birdie ability , he had 7 but finished level !!! Standard.
