I like Kaymers chances to, hopefully his recent signs of a return to form carry on.

I did a couple of early bets for The Open - I fear Stricker and Zach will have a good week this week in the states so possibly shrewd to back them now before that happens, we shall see how that works out but anyway....

Stricker @ 65
Zach @ 200

I have a few other orders in, gonna have a big stable come tee off time on the thursday morn!

Really looking forward to it lets just hope Rory dosen't turn it into a procession again.

Added a couple more so it looks like....

Stricker @ 65
Zach @ 200
Y.E Yang @ 110/120
Kuchar @ 65
Coetzee @ 460
Colsaerts @ 380
F.Molinari @ 160
B.Davis @ 290-310
D.J @ 70 (then drifts to 100 very strange)
Westwood @ 13 (Just a few quid to cover my bets really)
Cink @ 170
Noh @ 710

More added, will prob have about 12 runners come thurs morn!

there we are , got carried away but f it, It's only on once a year!

Spent a fair bit of time on this and think there are a few decent bets which I will post when I have managed to get on myself but there is a truly outstanding bet that I have pretty much zero chance of being able to get on so might as well post now.  Tom Lewis @ 11/10 with Unibet to be top amateur.  Honestly think this should be 4/6.  He has played lots of golf at this course and won the British Boys Open here in 2009.  I think 400-1 e/w is probably okay value for the title but obv the low variance play is for the silver medal and I would be fairly surprised if the Aussie and Yanks have played that much links golf.

8/1 for the Open a dim and distant. 6/1 still big enough, Unibet's 4/1 about what I'd go. Awesome Rory.

*cough* 10/1 now with both 365 and billy.

I miss Tiger on form when he was evens and everyone else was at least 20/1.   Getting 10/1 to 15/1 on the top Europeans at the start of a tourney where anything could happen isn't good.

why is everyone so keen on KJ?

I admit I've not seen an awful lot of golf but whenever I have he was missing.

Right sort of temperament for winning a major, handy in the wind and in reasonable form.

yeah they pay 8 places...which tBF is tempting but the prices are awful. for EW betting 4 points doesn't make an awful lot of diferrence though.

To be fair to Boyles the offer has been on for a while. When I first looked the prices looked pretty good. As it's the last day to get a bet on and they have got a lot of business it not surprising they have shortened prices.
I got on Kaymer this morning and they were joint top price at 28/1. The top price is still only 28/1. I'm getting 8 places rather than 5,6 or 7. To me that's a pretty good deal.
