Guessing Steve Williams was the key to the success for all those years.

I had a small bet on Scott this week largely because I thought Williams might make a difference but his interview at the end there was absolutely disgraceful.  Would it have hurt him to mention Adam Scotts name once?

Yeah - They interviewed Williams after the tournament and he said "I was a little bit nervous before but I got the win and that was the best week of my life" and "I have always been a good front runner"  Never once actually mentioned the guy that was hitting the shots.  Ridiculous.

Haha yeh , It was a pretty pathetic cheap shot Williams was taking at Woods too, "best week of my life".

I will say Williams must be a good pick for next week, he drove the ball beautifully and sank some nice putts and is  a champion front runner, tough to beat.

After the USPGA debacle, I can't resist another go this week.

De Jonge @ 36
Reavie @ 80
KT Kim @ 55

Anyone getting involved in Barclays?  Ladbrokes have best proce offer top 5 until 12.15 tommorrow and have chalked up Donald at 14/1 and Stricker at 18/1 which I think is tremedous value - sizeable bets on both

Hi Der Steve Palmer

Absolutely Brent - he's a Weymouth boy and he's been good to me over the years. Tbh would have backed Luke anyway this week - but no Stricker if he hadn't tweeted

Hi Der Steve Palmer

in fairness palmer and the other boke have been on stunning form this year, so not a bad idea to follow them.

Meant to post this earlier and will look a bit like aftertiming now but quite liked Vijay this week.  He has apparently had a back operation and I read an interview this week where he said last week was the first time he had played without pain in a long time and he played like the Vijay of old and obviously has shot a decent round today and sits 2nd.  If he is anything like the Vijay of old then he would not be anything like an 18/1 shot in running and probably more like 9/2-5/1.  I had a very small bet pre at 100/1 but am topping up this evening.

A couple that stand out for me on the golf this week. I´m in the middle of a very bad run on the golf and had resolved to take an extended break from it. These two are way bigger than I´d expected though so I´m having a small interest.

Fernandez Castano 35-1 Course form, good performance last week, nice habit of going really low occasionally, multiple tour winner.
Thomas Aiken 40-1 Good performance last week, winner on tour this year, like ^^ has a habit of going really low occasionally which you usually need to win here.

Doesn´t look a strong field Kaymer aside, other than Kaymer (who is probably about right at 10-1) I think these two have as good a chance as anyone.

Would be interested to hear the thoughts of the good golf judges.
